Using Apophysis 7x makes the julian lumpy for some reason. To flatten it to look like the 4th image in the tutorial, try using pre-zscale instead of zscale on tx1 or try using -0.6 zscale.

Hey! I have a question.

Once I finish tweeking it, what should I do? How do I do it get this cool look? Do I treat it with photoshop? Or it is a feature of the apophysis?

so cool. i guess this could be applied to other fractal apps.

On T1 variation tab, do you mean 0.6 pre_zscale instead of 0.6 zscale? Because that seems to look more like your result.

I just got to this part and also had the same problem.

I just put 0 for zscale and 0.6 for pre_zscale and it worked!

I don't know what's happening, but my 15C just makes up really small renders of the flame, I have to go into full zoom to be able to see them, and this zoom delays my previewing and slows my computer a lot. Anyone can help me here?

You should generally scale instead of zoom. Zoom will slow you down; scaling will do almost the same thing, but without the system lag :)
