My name is Ficatta/Sam, and i'm here to share my artistic creations with the world!
I'm a painter, fan artist, sketch artist, digital artist, webcomic creator, crafter, photographer/photomanipulator, street art documenter, amateur astronomer, videographer, gardener, plush and figure collector, paleonerd, and birder/nature lover. Yeah I have a lot of interests I guess

Going to Cornell Lab

As a serious bird lover, visiting the Cornell University bird lab in Ithaca was one of the highlights of my latest trip. Here I got to see their famous bird cam in person. You can view their YouTube live camera here to see what I’m talking about. Here are all of my pictures from the visitor center. There was some cool bird exhibits and awesome murals on the walls. We saw a hurt woodpecker near the window, and the staff were able to safely bring it inside away from the blistering heat. They have a lot of hiking trails here but we didn’t do any hiking because it was 90 degrees out. I bought a tee shirt and some other little things as a souvenir. It was an awesome ending to our trip.
