Pie Family - Nextgen References [Fhrogverse]

Finally finished the refs/designs for all of the cheesepie kids in my nextgen au! Thought it would be best to put them all together :) and happy new year!

Slide 1: Cheddar Cheer (Little Cheese) - designed by me!

He/She/They

Cheddar Cheer is an official super-duper party pony, and learned all of the tips and tricks of party planning from their parents. He's cheery, optimistic, and always good for a laugh, and growing up, she was always described as a mini version of her parents. They take that as a compliment, though- to Cheddar Cheer, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich are legends in the Party Pony community, and they consider themselves lucky that his heroes just so happened to be his parents. Cheddar Cheer has his own party-planning business that he runs with his younger brother, Jamboree. Cheddar Cheer is also dating one of Fluttershy and Discord's twins, Beetle Buzz.

He/Him

Sweet Tooth loves his family dearly, but is terribly concerned about their collective sugar intake. Everyone in the Pie family has a preference for sweet treats, and he's no exception (he just usually gets the sugar-free version.) He's overworked, as he's currently the only dentist in Ponyville, and he can never seem to completely get rid of the smell of menthol on his coat. He loves his family as they are, but he does wish they would at least floss more often.

She/Her

Soirée is an elegant event planner that organizes all of the most high-end charity balls and galas in Canterlot. She delights in being the talk of the town, and makes sure to play the part of a cultured socialite whenever she has the opportunity. For a while, she dated Twilight Sparkle's oldest son, Yorick Elegy, though the two eventually broke it off. They remained friends, and she still plans all of the premiere receptions for his plays. She's very close with her family, but most ponies would never guess she's a Pie.

She/Her

Jelly Shot is the slightly older fraternal twin of Pity Party, and though the two of them were close as children, as adults they don't really talk anymore. Jelly Shot packed her bags for Manehatten on her eighteenth birthday, and though she still writes home to her family in Ponyville (and occasionally to Soirée in Canterlot) she's pretty wrapped up her own life to keep in touch. She's an emcee for Manehatten's hottest clubs and most famous festivals. She never seems to sleep or stress: to her, life is a weekend bender, and she never stops chasing that high. Out of all of Pinkie's children, Jelly Shot is the one that parties the hardest.

Slide 5: Pity Party - designed by @CementChip

She/Her
Pity Party is the most quiet and sheltered of Pinkie's children. She's always wanted to entertain, to be funny, but she just doesn't have that energetic 'spark' that the rest of her siblings have. She's the only one of them without Pinkie Sense, which bothers her greatly. This lack of awareness meant that she was always the most clumsy and awkward member of her family, and eventually she found a way to turn that into an act of her own. She longs to shine, but feels that she cannot do so if she's living in the shadow of her more successful siblings, so she moved to the Crystal Empire to try to forge her own path. She's found some modest success there, and has made friends with one of Cadance's children, one who also feels like the 'black sheep' of his family. She still writes home and even visits on holidays, but she doesn't keep in touch much with her twin, Jelly Shot.

Jamboree Shindig - designed by @TinKL3y

He/Him

Jamboree Shindig plays (literal) second fiddle to his sibling, Cheddar Cheer. Contrary to what people might think, he actually doesn't mind it- He loves his sibling and enjoys entertaining others, so he's happy to borrow the spotlight from Cheddar while she runs the rest of the party. Jamboree can play all types of stringed instruments, but his preference is the banjo, which he brings everywhere. Jamboree has no interest in starting a Party Pony service on his own- to him, the whole appeal of it is that he gets to have fun with his family, so he's more than happy to stay close to home and be Cheddar Cheer's party assistant for the foreseeable future. He has a crush on Prize Apple, Applejack and Trixie's daughter.
