Healing
Teacher: Ms. Zillandra
Introduction:
The healing “classroom” is rigidly organized with anatomical charts on the walls and a variety of useful plants such as aloe on the window shells. Everything is neat and there’s a bottle of hand sanitizer on Ms. Zillandra’s desk. “Welcome. If you’re in my class you were drawn to the noble calling of healing. But don’t be fooled - while this is magical in nature, you still need to follow proper protocol - that means knowing the systems you’re working on and keeping everything sanitary.

Divination Assignments Winter 2019
Divination
Teacher: Mr. Kuneira
Introduction:
As you walk into the smokey incense and scented candle filled air of the divination classroom you feel the urge to sneeze. The class is decorated with crystal balls and you can grab complimentary tea or cakes courtesy of Mr. Kuneira. He is a timid man, who welcomes his students with a smile even if he does seem sort of like an unfortunately sentient pile of jello in the shape of a man. “Welcome to Divination. I am your teacher Mr. Kuneira, and with me, hopefully you will find a bit of guidance and certainty in your teenage life. And if not, there are snacks.”

We’re going to practice accuracy today! I’m going to fire these babies up-” She pats one of the machines fondly. “And you’re going to try and shoot the balls out of the air! Isn’t that fun?”

Questions:
  1. What will you call your attack?
  2. How much destruction did it cause?

Assignment 3: Bounty Hunting

Ms. Bloodwind shifts around a bit as she announces your final exam. “Now. As Hesnia is a hub world, it can have a bit of an… invasive species problem. The local farmers have given me lists of some of the pests, and I’ve gotten permission from the school for you to go out and hunt them. If you don’t wish to harm anything of course you can stay here and show off your stuff on Mr. Sandy the sandbag.” Mr. Sandy is enchanted to be near indestructible and will display your damage output in glowy magic numbers above him.

Your assignment is to alleviate those symptoms in yourselves or your classmates. If you can’t handle it on your own I’ll cure them at the end of class.

Assignment:Comment below to pick a number 1-10. Each potion will give you a “minor” symptom that you have to successfully cure from yourself.

Assignment: Pick a doll that’s suffering either from heat exhaustion or hypothermia. Make it better. You may use magical or non-magical means.

Assignment: Bring a frog back to life. Okay.

Examples:Draw your student reviving their frog, the living froggy friend, or all these zombie frogs taking over the classroom.

Questions:

Assignment 1: Knucklebones

Mr. Kuneira has a large box of craft supplies on his desk. “Today we’re making knucklebones! While traditionally made from well… knuckle bones of a sheep or well… similar… animal…” He seems to take a moment. “They’ve evolved into modern jacks and dice! So we have our supplies and we’re going to make some! They just need to have 6 sides to land on. Then tell fortunes with them!”

Assignment: Make your own knucklebones… then predict things with them! Make a list of 20 answers for your question numbering between four and twenty four. Throwing your knucklebones or dice you add up the result and there’s your answer!

Examples: Draw your character making their custom knucklebones, their finished product, their question and list of answers, or them casting their knucklebones.

Questions:
  1. Will you be keeping your knucklebones?
  2. Will you use them for future questions?

Assignment 2: Counting Crows

Mr. Kuneira is sitting on top of his desk when you walk in dressed more warmly than usual with a scarf around his neck. Oh no… “For today I thought it’d be fun to go outside! I have with me some info sheets on what seeing certain amounts of birds mean and how they’re omens! Especially crows are very portentious! You’re going  to go walk around campus and see what the birds around say!

Assignment:Walk around campus. Look for birds.
Examples:Draw your character presenting the meaning of the birds they found or actually draw the birds.

Questions:

  1. Did you get cold?
  2. Did you see a lot of birds?

Assignment 3: Scrying

When you walk into class for your final exam, Mr. Kuneira has on his desk several large bowls of the sort ideal for popcorn, table mirrors that are great for makeup. “For this exam you’ll be learning how to scry! Basins of water are easiest, but you can also use mirrors! To use the basins you drop a piece of what you’re trying to focus on  into the basin- I recommend hair if you’re doing a person and focus. For the mirrors you just kind of… hold it and think really hard? Either way! I’m sure you’ll find success! If you succeeded you’ll see a scene of your subject!”

Assignment: Scry into the water or mirror and see an image of your subject! This can be anything of course- provided your student has something related to it. A pet, their parents, their bedroom… anything. This class should only show images of the present but particularly talented students may see the past or future.

Examples:Showing your student choosing their implement, what they used as a focus, the scene they saw, or their reaction!
Questions:
  1. What did you choose to scry?
  2. What did you use as a focus?
  3. What did you see?

OVERVIEW
:bulletblack: Full Name: Blue Glimmerscale-Godslayer; Ms. Blue, Ms. G
:bulletblack: Gender: Fluid Demigirl, depends on how she's currently presenting She/Her or He/Him, usually She/Her
:bulletblack: Species: Demon Cat
:bulletblack: Birthday: April 1st (Real Date: March 28th 1980)
:bulletblack: Age: 38 (equivalent to late teens/early 20s)
:bulletblack: Height: varies but usually 5'0
:bulletblack: Physical Description: A chubby and round brown-skinned girl with darker stripes. She has a catlike face, almost like someone squished a cat face into a human shape. Her eyes are large and seafoam green with oval pupils and over-exaggerated thick 'cat eye' liner. She usually wears blue eyeshadow. Her nose is flat, upturned, and triangular. Her mouth slightly cleft with small protruding fangs and often has dark blue lipstick. She has thick dark triangular eyebrows, and a pair of stripes on rising up on each side from her chin to her cheeks.

Blue has a round tummy and proportionately long legs ending in a large furry cat paw staring just above each ankle. These have blue-gray fur with stripes matching the ones on her skin and three toes on each foot. She has a notably thick fluffy matching tail, and a pair of proportionately undersized bat wings with stripes on top and a blue-gray membrane. On top of her heas is a very thick boldly blue set of hair with fluffy bangs in front and usually with a somewhat wild uncombed appearance and worn loose. She has two rounded cat ears, the right of which has a chunk missing.

Fashion-wise Blue prefers to keep it casual with oversized sweaters, hoodies, and long skirts. She usually doesn't bother with shoes but likes chunky boots when she does. Notably she hates wearing pants. She usually accessorizes with chunky heart or cat shaped jewelry, cat shaped bags, and a winning personality. Her favorite colors are pink, green, and blue.

RÉSUMÉ
:bulletblack: Class: Pokemon Training
:bulletblack: Special Abilities: [Restricted to 3 maximum]
:bulletwhite: Shapeshifting: Blue is a talented shapeshifter, and her only real limitation is size, currently ranging from a small lizard to a large rhino. She doesn't like losing limbs entirely as it feels weird, and she usually has limited control if she creates extra ones. She also prefers sticking to her own color scheme and will ALWAYS have the scar on her ear.
She can also, naturally, manipulate her own senses.
:bulletwhite: Spatial Manipulation: This ability has mostly manifested in her teleporting, which she can use instantly and across great distances, if often resulting in a side-effect of smoke, noise, or light. With time and resources she can build permanent gates between places or universes, and recently has learned how to use it to float for short periods.
:bulletblack: Physiology: As a demon from her universe, Blue is a creature more of soul than of body. This means that she can regenerate from any amount of purely physical damage... eventually providing she has enough energy. She also occasionally needs to eat souls to maintain her energy.
:bulletblack: Blue is proficient in dark, light, fire, and healing magic, with minor knowledge in plant, summoning, and animation specialties. She has basic knowledge of potion making and dance. She's an experienced artist and has her own webcomic. She's an expert adventurer and has leadership and organizational skills from her time as the student council president.

PERSONAL
:bulletblack: Residence: Blue lives in a very pink apartment off campus.
:bulletblack: Likes: Blue enjoys cats, bright colors, candy, and sparkly things.
:bulletblack: Dislikes: Blue hates being trapped, hungry, or bored.
:bulletblack: Personality: Short version: manic pixie catgirl. A highly energetic and motivated individual Blue's always busy with SOMETHING even if that something is ill-advised. She's mostly learned to channel herself towards constructive ends, but sometimes the urge to cause trouble is too much. Blue's usually nice to everybody, but if someone makes a bad first impression she might try to prank them. Highly impulsive, she does sometimes get in over her head, but at least she's clever even if she does tend to avoid her problems until forced to confront them.
:bulletblack: History: Blue was born into a family with a single mother and many siblings in an unsettled region of the kingdom of Drackovack in a cave in the woods. Things were fun and she'd often get into trouble with her siblings until one day she attracted the attention of a more powerful demon. Swiftclaw, her mother barely managed to fight him off and not before he could end the life of one of Blue's older brothers. Fearing for the lives of the rest of her children, with a heavy heart Swift threw Blue out. For a few years Blue wandered, and even nearly starved. When on the brink of death she was discovered by the dragon Yorin Glimmerscale. Seeing her potential, he took her in and adopted her as his daughter. As Blue grew and was trained, she took up a career as an adventurer. But, Yorin had his own plot. He planned to revive a lost goddess, and sent Blue out with the girl carrying the goddess's dormant soul. Blue, not knowing the true nature of the quest went along with it to help the goddess awaken. Unfortunately the goddess awakening meant the death of the girl. Livid with her father, Blue left to look for something. She found it in Brookview. Giving herself distance, she enrolled in the school to find her way in life separate from her father.
:bulletblack: Relationships to students: Blue is enjoying a non-romantic relationship with Mortimer Sugihara which is... somehow involved with Azivii. The whole thing is very hard to label.
:bulletblack: Additional info: Blue has MANY CATS.
Its funny, remembering lost dreams
How you lose bits and pieces of yourself
Until you look back, to see what they’ve assembled
Oh,
