DeLorean! My 2nd favorite car (after Ferrari)! I love your art!

I've been fond of the car since the mid-80s (yes... the Back to the Future movie) Used to be my fave. Collected the books and brochures and such. But Ferrari soon became and has since held top spot with me as well.

thank you.

You're welcome! The movie is great with a nice attitude and very fun to watch! It's also one of my Dad's favorite movies. The car also is fantastic and has a beautiful name!

I wonder what you can create from such a simple style. It's just great

Nice work! Is that a '69 Roadrunner in the background?

thx. i believe it was. It was a bright green (forget the colour name.. they had some crazy names in the muscle car years) i changed it so it added some composition element but didnt overpower the painting.

What is a Yupo?

This is a cool and dramatic composition you have here. I love the negative space that is created by the door, and the fender acts as a great negative balance as well. Very arresting design. And the amount of detailing is spot on...just right to give the information without over riding the design. Flat out gorgeous piece of work you have here!

thx..
explained Yupo in the Ferrari pic thread. But you can Google it as well... there are some youtube videos of its implementation as well. They can show you how the colour moves around on the surface.

thx again.

Love this dramatic style! Keep it up.:)

Thx... Yupo is a new thing i am exploring. I've used watercolours for 20 years so its a new angle on an old medium...
