I'm sorry,

but being the obsessive pendant that I am I couldn't leave FERAL like that. With an odd number. And 13 at that. But also without some kind of arching closure. I wanted to go back to the start of it all. And that was / is and my favourite creation of his, the multi-headed, magenta, mammary-tastic MuchGirl.

This will be my last jam. So if anyone would like to take up the mantle and keep FERAL going, please be my guest. If not, as usual, all the jams remain open and alive and will live on without us. Although I plan on coming back with my own long-delayed submissions for said jams.

Hi All.

I know it's incredibly late but and myself are incredibly busy with our own individual projects at the mo.

I'm going to make this one my last. If anyone wants to take over the running of FERAL then by all means, be my guest, but I'm ducking out from now on. I can't speak for Owen but I'm done.

I have jams on here that I still want to do and I'll keep up to date with the group but I'm thinking of starting my own dA art challenge group from scratch with my own rules etc. It's something Owen and myself have spoken about in the past. Anyone interested, I'll post the details on here when the time comes.


So. The Jam. It's not too original but it's an interesting one. A variation of which I've seen elsewhere (including university) and enjoyed.

Monthly Jam: FERAL Fairytales

Take a fairy tale or a folk tale and tweak the setting to be something slightly different. The same characters but different genre. For example, Little Red Riding Hoodie in urban Los Angeles. Or Cinderella set in ancient hedonistic Rome. How about Humpty Dumpty in SPACE!? With floating eggy mess... Or maybe the Snow Queen set in the tepid jungles of Columbia and the harsh road to Miami. Ha.

Take those wacky old tales and twist them into something freaky(er). I'd love to see what you guys come up with.

Monthly Jam: 21st Century Ghostbusters: Or Ghostbusters 3 according to FERAL

I know I know... Another Ghostbusters project. Yeah, so. if you think you can do better stick it in the suggestions box.

So. Ghostbusters 3 may or may not be happening. But let's not let that stop us. The aim of the game here is to redesign, update and imagine how Dr Peter Venkman and his crew would look if the team was still going today, 26 years after they first formed.

We all know how Bill Murray looks in 2010 but how would Venkman look? Does he dye his hair? What do their uniforms look like? What equipment are they using these days? Are they still driving that old 1950's hearse? Heck, are the guys even still doing the dirty work or are they all franchised out now?

Let's see what you come up with.
