Longbow archer, equipped with the Yorkshire rose on his tabard. 14th century. Some historical errors, but all-in-all a costume that I'm quite happy with.

Longbows those guys used were probably Self-bows (made from one piece of wood). That one's pretty obviously modern composite, but it looks like a nice one. Awesome costume, too.

Yep, at that time, I was concentrating on finding a good enough bow for a reasonable prize, rather than 100% autenticity on it. As long as it was made of wood, about my length and shot straight, I was happy.

Nice picture, but that's not a Mary Rose-style bow, it's a modern American flatbow.
