GIMP Fade Between Images

Description

This is a resubmittal of a previously posted tutorial. Using the Morph tool in GAP, I will show you how to fade between images. Click on the image to see it in action. Much easier (IMNSHO) than using full-blown GAP! Now, you may say, "There's already a script to automatically do this. Why do I need a tutorial?" You are correct! That's a fabulous question! And, I have an excellent answer for you. 1) It's good to know how to accomplish the things a script does. It adds to your skill. 2) The script uses an entirely different method for achieving this result. The morph tool was probably never intended to be used this way. By using the Morph tool, we've learned a way to exploit it and think outside the box.

The only difference in this tutorial and the previous one is that you no longer have to view this tutorial on another site. I've prepared the tutorial in an htm version so you can download it to your computer and work on it at your leisure. Just click on the Download to Desktop Button, double-click the zip file and save the file folder and htm file to a convenient location. Double-click the html file and you're in business.

Enjoy!
