Misty Blue had won. But, in my view this match was a total disaster in many ways.
1. Conditioning. Misty was labored breathing early on and it was clear her conditioning had fallen off.
2. Speed mistys trademark fast moves and high tempo were shown to be waning. The Champion looked slower than before. She was also looking heavier.
3. Linda Dallas outwrestled her. Misty looked outclassed much of the match. Frustrated and had no answer for Linda's speed or skill.
4. This video would become a blueprint for others to study if they wanted to beat Misty. Linda had just shown the plan. Keep the tempo high, as she slows down, wear her down with power moves and she can be beaten.

Within a year of this match, Monster Ripper would beat her in Puerto Rico. Ending her career as a top 10 wrestler and the Injuries sustained in the Ripper match would effectively end Mistys career eventually.
