An anonymous online troll sent me this message because I like & post muscular women. I'm sure most Female Muscle fans have encountered this bullying in some form or another. It seems almost barbarian in an age of political correctness and sexual preference acceptance. I've learned to ignore most internet idiots, but it got me thinking...

Why are men who like big boobs on a woman never taunted with "you want to breastfeed still, are you a kid?" but men who like big muscles on a woman are taunted with "you want to be gay"? Doesn't make sense to me.

Personally I haven't found one of those idiots, but along years I have developed a lot of tools to laugh at those losers with macho-man complex. Since quoting that Japanese Master who said: "I was born man, therefore everything I do is masculine" to diminish them with my strong areas, (my intelligence, my talent, my culture) and over all, showing my tastes with proud. When you stand at world claiming your beliefs with self-confidence, they have no argument and shut up.

And a further quote: "The real source of progress is extravaganza. Only those who dare to explore the uncommon, lead humankind to the next step of evolution".

to be honest I've haven't experienced anyone calling me gay I've read it in other post but none for me. I guess my feeling is that this is a free country and I have the right to like anything I want.

"Bah, homosexuality is soooo twentieth century. This here's some cutting edge physically impossible sthenolagnia! It's weird s#!t: the next generation!"
I find they generally don't know how to respond to something like that . . . .

Things like an outright "Hey Faggot" are better off ignored - but some people really just don't understand and if you can educate them it can be good for everyone. I'm amazed that I get far more posts that turn into actual intelligent conversations on the subject than I get outright insults. Of course I put a disclaimer on top of all of my work!

But in real life I don't have the capacity to be as cavalier about it - very few people know, and when they were still alive my friends and family pretty much universally thought it was really f'd up (my dad, and even the local baptist minister, thought I'd be "better of gay"). When you've got police officers beating against the door of your bathroom stall saying: "We got us a faggit -wanna suck on the lead from my gun you fuckin' faggit? You're goin ta hell faggit - pray to jesus before we kill yer ass" because one of the characters in a comic I was working on had a muscular woman (and not even muscular like my neoverseomega art, more like a female gymnast), you know this predilection is going to have to stay well underground.

Weirdly enough the gay community here in Saint Louis gets that I'm NOT gay pretty much immediately. Gay men who love muscle catch the femininity in my work instantly - the boobs, the camel toe, and the hip structure give it away. Although they too say I'd be happier if I was gay . . .
This from people who's sexual orientation limits their job options, their ability to get married, and their ability to have and adopt children.
Perhaps they support me because they know I'll vote to give them that ability to get married and adopt children! Still, it seems a little strange that this fetish is actually less acceptable than something that was once considered literally unspeakable.

Heh, lesbians dig me - Alexis (my character with the short cropped hair, the lady in "Please") is pretty popular. There was a time when I was a fixture in lesbian bars because I went for the "diesel dykes" (muscular chicks) as much as some of the girls did. Heh, a couple of them even went so far as to say it was too bad I wasn't a chick because they really liked me! Haha! Like my life wasn't frustrating enough (curls into a ball, weeps softly).
Would anyone accuse a lesbian who likes diesel dykes of being a closet heterosexual? Of course not! People comprehend the gender preference before they comprehend the fetish. The same can't be said for heterosexual men who like muscular women.

In many ways in this society the female body is the final frontier of social development.

Your post got me thinking. Why are not artists that make regular comics (DC/Marvel) or their readers treated like this, I do not understand. Most comics have muscular male characters, if the same logic is applied, then it must indicate both the artists and readers are gay... and people that watch or participate on the WWE/WWF, let's add those, and people who watch or fight on MMA, let's add those too, why not, any boxing fans ? football ?  --it's retarded; most people are morons and there's just too many IMHO :(

I would respond with "I am gay cause i like women?" and continue with "Maybe you should go back to school and learn the meanings of words"... that is if I responded at all

I actually had a person harass on me just about a week ago as I said I won't draw so much muscle drawings anymore. I don't care about trolls, but hell harassment is a different thing.

This happened to me a few times before. Usually I just ignored those notes.

I read on a female bodybuilder's page the quote, "We condemn what we don't understand", and the comment you are talking about is most likely a case of this. They think the reason they are turned off by women with muscles (ie masculine looking) has to be the same reason we are attracted to them. They don't realise that it's just female strength and power taken to the extreme.

Also, in the past, I have often debated with people who have posted comments like, "You have got to be secretly gay if you like women who look like this!", on YouTube and here on DA, and was surprised to find that they were almost always gay themselves! I'm guessing that seeing muscles on a woman must somehow make them question their own sexuality.

"We condemn what we don't understand" is the key phrase to it all. Thanks
