ALL THALMOR MUST DIE

Description

Langwen the Wood Elf despised the Thalmor, hated them with a burning passion in her heart. So the task given to her by the Daedric Prince Peryite was not as hard at all. she knew the Thalmor were under strict orders to bring her back alive for questioning and so she waited for them at a road junction in the wilderness. To her awe and surprise they didn't recognize her, as she was wearing the Black robes of a court wizard...which were also worn by mage novices as well when out in the field gathering ingredients.

Langwen was gathering sprigs of lavender as well as honeysuckle plants which the Dibellan nuns of Gottlesfont Priory taught her could make extremely powerful and very expensive healing potions for a very good price. Sister Angrond, a fellow Bosmer whose name translates as the Iron One or literally She Iron, was also a master of alchemy and botany and the Breton nun sister Phebe Jeanard was an expert at farming and cooking. They were more than just sisters, nuns of Dibella, they were lovers who were living a simple, secluded and isolated life in the wilderness...especially dangerous for two women as the ruins of Fort Wooden Hand were nearby.

The ruins were crawling with bandits until Langwen killed them all, and even now were full of building crews from the Imperial Legion who were slowly rebuilding the fort. The crews were made up of Nord and Orc women and so the sisters could at least have someone to sell their products to...and to convert to the joys of the Dibellan arts, worshipping Dibella.

The Thalmor killing squad was made up of three soldiers and an officer called a Justiciar, apparently deluding themselves into trying to call a cold-blooded murder of a hermit Daedra worshipper an act of justice. Poor Glaewil wasn't even armed, they slit her throat from behind when she was at prayer.

The Justiciar was the only female, the other three...the ones doing the capturing, torturing and killing being all male. When they saw the Wood Elf picking herbs and placing them in her various satchels, they taught they had found someone to use, abuse and discard but her lethal Daedric Dagger made them realize who they were dealing with...too late as Langwen killed them all with a single slice as they surrounded her.

Never surround your prey before disarming and paralyzing her with a spell...it was the first combat lesson Langwen had been taught...a lesson the Thalmor failed to heed. As they were dying, Langwen cast a spell called Numbness, a lesser version of the Paralysis spell, and prayed to the Nine Divines for the souls of her would-be killers.

"-It is all right, Thalmor. I forgive you for trying to murder me and murdering Glaewil, my childhood friend. May Mara and Akatosh forgive you your sins, may the winds of Kynareth guide your souls swiftly to Aetherius, and may Dibella bring the comfort of love and memory to your loved ones." Langwen said as she knelt as squeezed the hands firmly, to let them know there was no hatred between them. Not anymore. She wanted to perform her duties for the Daedric Prince Peryite but didn't want the souls of the Thalmor going to The Pits, Peryite realm of Oblivion, or even Coldharbour for that matter. Even the Thalmor did not deserve the suffering and pain Coldharbour was known for inflicting. As they died, Langwen once more heard the voice of the Daedric Prince Peryite, satisfied and pleased:

"-I see you have done as I had asked, little Bosmer. I am quite pleased with you. But how foolish of you to forgive and pray for the souls of enemies. Know this from me...your kindness, mercy, love, nobility and honor are things the Thalmor DO NOT have. Inside them there is no spark of laughter, hope, mercy or any tolerance. And no amount of prayer will save the Thalmor leader from the schemes of My Brother, Prince Molag Bal, whom she worshipped freely and of her own will. They also murdered her own sister, the court mage of Solitude for refusing to join the Thalmor. Should you pray, I wonder for such a soul?" Peryite said as the sun was setting and Langwen knew the vampires of Broken Fang Cave would be out in force tonight. Langwen had no more fight left in her, as the words of Peryite struck at the depths of her soul.

She managed to find an abandoned cart and placed the dead Altmer's bodies and using herself as a draught horse she pulled the cart to the nearest city, the city of Whiterun, so that the bodies could be buried in accordance with tradition and as fast as possible.

If only the magical third option of destroying the thalmor existed in the game. One of things I absolutely hated about Skyrim was the lack of variety in choice.
Ralof: "Jarl Ulfric! The Thalmor are trying to kill off Talos Worshippers and the empire just signed a peace contract with them to avoid further bloodshed."
Ulfric: "We'll destroy the empire. I'm going to Solitude with a secret weapon to destroy the high king."
Ralof: "And the Thalmor?"
Ulfric: "Leave them alone for now. They may be the ones slaughtering our nordfolk and nobody else I don't care about. But yeah we're gonna destroy the empire instead."
Ralof: "Yessir Jarl Ulfric soon to be high king."

Later...

Dragonborn: "So I can either destroy the Empire or the Stormcloaks instead of killing the Thalmor who started the deaths in the first place. No third option to kill the Thalmor and solve all problems even if I have to wipe 'em out one agent at a time? I can't even fight the Thalmor after killing off the empire? I'm gonna go with the f*** both your factions faction."

Much much later...

Dragonborn: "So has either side won the war yet? No? Well don't expect me to help since I'm too busy saving the world over and over again to be interested."
Ralof: "If he's not with us, he's against us."
Dragonborn: "Is that a threat? Because I know all the shouts, have the best armour, best weapons, and best spells, defeated all the big guys too easily. So yeah The only guys who could possibly best me are the greybeards."

I would also like the option to save Paarthurnaax by killing Delphine and Esbern instead of him. There's so many options we would have preferred rather than just one we could just choose not to do or two.
