Part 4: Synthesis Obviously, recreating the scene would require money and resources I don't have and I doubt any studio would commit to such a project. But, as one fan's speculation, here is what I would like to see. Having a lavish musical number is not a bad idea, it can help establish Jabba as criminal overlord, 'the Palpatine of The Underworld' if you will but it should not distract from Oola who is, after all, what keeps the scene from being a waste of time. Probably, the simplest way to achieve both of these is to split it into two songs, one focusing more on Oola the other focusing more on the band. This might be what they had in mind when they were making the 1997 version since the first song has more shots of Oola dancing while the second has more shots of the band. I think it would be more effective to switch the two, have the first song focus more on the band as a lavish spectacle then the second focus more on Oola and have her fight with Jabba uninterrupted like in the
