Description
I walked up to the steps. I knew that it was a bit of a risk going in, but then I saw her throw the crystal to the ground and realized that I had arrived in time. I opened the door and walked inside, noting that an open door might not be the safest thing in times like this. The walls were very pink and the place was very tidy. Normally, it wouldn’t be the place that I stepped inside, but desperate times called for desperate measures and I did know this girl was a centuries old vampire and could be very helpful.
“Hi! Welcome to…” She started.
“I really don’t have time for your whole spiel. I’m not here to join your sorority. I’m here because I need your help. Lilly told me to look for you.” I stated.
“How do you know Lilly?” She asked.
“I know her because I saved her. Did you receive a crystal in the mail recently?” I questioned.
“Yeah, but I’m not interested in being involved with the Company again.” She stated before I saw the crystal on the floor. I moved my hands and broke it into pieces. “I don’t curse much but could you kindly tell me what the fuck is going on?”
“Those crystals have been causing havoc everywhere. You may notice this uniform as belonging to the Foot Clan. The thing is the Clan has been completely taken over by those crystals. I hacked into the cameras and they’ve basically converted everyone in the dojo. They’ve also gone after several others that we were in the Company and I wouldn’t be surprised if they slipped into Mr. Satan’s ranks as well.”
“That’s not his name.” Cassie pointed out.
“I don’t care what his name is. The point is several members of the Company have been taken over: Hope, Babs, Savannah and even Charlotte.”
“They got mistress?” She asked in shock. “I mean she’s not my mistress anymore but…”
“I get it. They got my mistress too.” I explained. “I need your help. I know you have some influence on this campus. If you see anyone wearing those crystals, get rid of them.”
“What do I get in return for this?” She questioned. It was fair for her to want something. Sorority girls were kind of stuck up after all.
“Well you get the satisfaction of defeating an evil corporation, but if that isn’t enough, I have two things for you.” I declared as I made a bag of blood appear. “The first is this.”
She sniffed it and then bit into it before she wiped her lips off.
“What’s the second?” Cassie inquired.
“Protection. While they have already captured several superheroes, I have a few that I converted to the Clan a while ago who weren’t in the dojo. These people will probably come here since you’re the most powerful sorority in the country.” I told her.
“What can I do to help?” She asked. “I mean do you a plan to stop this other than forcibly removing them from who knows how many people?”
“No.” I admitted as I looked down. “I think if I can get through to mistress, she would be a lot of help, but I don’t want to fight her and I’m really not prepared to kill her even though I probably need to be.”
“Why don’t you just use these superheroes you have to fight back?” She suggested.
“Because I don’t want anyone to die.” I answered. “And I’m not ready to go back until unless I have a real solution. Wait a minute. Go back. I need to use your computer.”
“Why?” She responded.
“I need to look at some posts.” I declared as I rushed up to the office. “Can you turn off this screensaver? It’s distracting.”
“You must be immune to mind control then.” Cassie noted as she put in her password.
“I realized that people might try to take me from the Clan a long time ago.” I stated. “So I trained my mind to be completely immune. Here we go. The first post is from March 15th, 2024. I can travel back in time to then and talk to Mistress and maybe she can help me find a way to neutralize these crystals.”
“Do you think that will work?” Cassie asked.
“It’s going to have to.” I said.
Message me, Faith.
