It had been a long while since Merlin had gone out for a walk and taken a break from caring for his home with his pokemon every day. He got up in his bed and stretched his arms, deciding it was about time he went for a walk, regardless if any of his pokemon wanted to follow suit and come with him. As he was leaving the house, Octavia and Nesta decided to come with him and floated behind him, leaving some distance between them and himself.
