I've recently been involved with an unusual anthology, The Newspaper Strip Collection of Oscar Charles Drayton, a "found footage" facsimile scrapbook belonging to the titular Oscar. However, as Oscar descends into a state of psychotic depression, he becomes convinced that the strips mirror his life…

Conceived and masterminded by John Maybury, it also features the work of David Goodman, Andrew Cheverton & Tim Keable, and Colin Stanford, with Paul Rainey and Siobhan Hillman. More information can be found on my website.

I'll be at MCM Manchester, on the 20th July, behind the Square Eyed Stories table (B4) in the Comic Village.

Experience the Magic of the Legend! #1 - Cover by FavouriteCrayon
I'll be selling copies of Experience the Magic of the Legend! Volume 1, the collected edition of my webcomic series*. You can read them all online for free, but the print edition is in HD, has no DRM, and doesn't require an active internet connection.

I'll also be drawing Sketch Cards on the day, as well as selling comics and prints.

*Unless tsunami/asteroids/kaiju/etc conspire to prevent the printer delivering them.

Square Eyed Stories #25 is now available to order from Comicsy.co.uk.

This is the latest issue of the group humour anthology comic which I contribute to, and is available in both hardcopy (for aficionados of analogue artifacts), and PDF versions (ideal for digital denizens).
Issues #22, #23, and #24 are also available in printed comic book form, and feature strips by a cartoonist collective:

Every issue is self-contained, and while there are recurring characters, there are no serials, so you're not jumping on in the middle of anything. It'd be pretty difficult to start with issue #1 anyway, as that's long out of print. But if you really want to read the early strips, that's what the Square Eyed Stories website is for.

Comicsy.co.uk is a one-stop-online-shop for a variety of small press comics from the UK, selling both digital downloads and comics in book form.

Square Eyed Stories 24 Front Cover by FavouriteCrayon

Square Eyed Stories is a humour anthology comic containing short gag strips by a cartoonist collective:

Each issue is self-contained, so you don't need to worry about having missed the previous issues. Which is just as well, as we're up to issue #24, with #25 coming soon. Besides, strips from the long out of print earlier issues are going up at the Square Eyed Stories website, every Monday and Friday, so you can catch up that way and see if SES is your cup of cake.

Comicsy is a one-stop-online-shop for a variety of small press comics from the UK, selling both digital downloads and comics in book form, printed on actual paper and everything.

Put the two together, and magic happens. Check it out, hepcats.
