051 - Minnow

This is Page 50 of Minnow, a graphic novel set in an alternate-historical version of twenty-first century America. Our eponymous heroine Minnow discovers a disturbing reality about the world in which she enjoys an idyllic childhood: her world differs from ours in that the events desribed in H.P. Lovecraaft's story "The Shdaow over Innsmouth" are not fiction, but part of that world's real history.

I wrote Minnow as a screenplay and commissioned erosarts to adapt it into a graphic novel, so he had more freedom than usual to make artistic decisions about its look and feel. I think it came out really well.
