Fatal-Exit

Hi, :) So anyway today I decided to revisit a program I hadn't touched in a long time. Google SketchUp. I downloaded the free version (SketchUp Make) and got it setup within 5 minutes, and got right in. Anyone else use it? Either the free or the paid? I mean in any sort of way, from producing architectural designs, to actually using it to build the 3d forms for a painting? I've a strange relationship with the 3d world. I tend to shun the bigger industry standard programs, Max, Maya and the likes, for their extreme prices, though I'm considering taking a look at the Indie version they have of Maya. I can't work blender out for the life

I'm not totally sure what my stance on making fan-art really is. I love it, sure, but there's a certain negativity attached to it by some. I love doing original works as well. But I might give doing some fan-art a go, especially indie game related stuff (I just made a TBOI painting as an experiment). I'll give it a go. If it comes out terrible maybe I'll give it up totally. But I'd love to have it as an extra addition to the things I like to do. So in the long term, I guess I'll just have to see how it goes. Could be interesting.
