Dappled moonlight shivers throughout, the forest as the battered and bloodied men women pass through the forests heart. A young woman whispers to the dark elf ringleader "Farathil I think we are lost". "Were not lost… just misplaced we will find some tracks my usual boar game leave and we will be on our way to Subtle Lake, that's where they sleep on nights like this. A man in the background collapses. "Damn, Kurt go check on our "sleeping" man over there". Kurt nods and jogs in that direction. Mimsy looks around in concern "their not gone, just watching us". The party sits at the bar ordering tonight's dinner. After a couple minutes the bar becomes cluttered with plates and mugs of mead and wine. At the end of the bar sits Kurt, looking through his pockets looking for spare change. "Y'know this coin purse holds more than enough for two meals?" Farathil offers. "No, you won that bet fair and square I need to earn my meal as you earned yours, by gambling." Kurt smiles as he walks over to a nearby table with two men arm wrestling. Farathil gives a slight chuckle, and takes another drink of his spiced wine. While taking his drink he sees a shadowy figure sitting in the dark corner of the inn. His two serpent eyes almost glow revealing the figure's scaly head hidden behind an intricate, exotic looking helm. Farathil recoils from being slightly disturbed from the piercing eyes. Isolation leaves a mind a bit undone leaving thoughts of distrust.
Rejection leaves the heart swelled with the love could of been given declined.
Regret leaves the brain swelled with thoughts which could of been.
Pain everyone has it, but there are those who admit to it and those who cause it.
Revenge leaves a darkened soul only to cause the pain you wanted justice for.

Kurt walks a steady pace while singing a merry tune, while holding a half loaf of bread nibbling on it between songs. "So what parts of Arcadia are we going through to get to the kingdom," asks Atesan. "Well we will be going through just a couple snowy forests then finally the mountain range of Shiver frost, but there is a shortcut were going to take," replies Farathil. Kurt stops in mid song, "Which one are you talking about?" Kurt asks uncertain. "Well… there is Cavern of Tourge, I use it when I'm selling boar meat to the dwarfs its on my trading route". Farathil awoke from a peaceful sleep disturbed from a feeling of being watched. He turned to see Kurt in a seemingly blissful sleep. Farathil turns his head again to see Mimsy dozing off by the fire. "I can't shake the feeling that I'm being watched" Farathil tell himself softly. Farathil rises from his bedroll. Dresses himself in a light leather shirt, normal hunting pants, and his favorite boots. Farathil reaches in his pocket to pull out a small leather necklace with a black stone on it with a shining green symbol chiseled into it. He examines it and smiles as he puts it on. "Might as well get some breakfast while scouting the perimeter" he says while equipping his quiver of arrows and his bow. Farathil takes a look one last time at the camp, and starts to walk a steady stride that turns into a quick jog. Farathil freezes suddenly. "What god are you?" Farathil asks not fully convinced.  "I am Mimsy the father of Arcadia and if I really was pissed off you all would be dead with the snap of my fingers" Mimsy's voice echoes through the darkness. "I do believe it" Kurt says "The language that he used is an old Arcadian war spell, not very many people know of such things and he knew it fluently" Kurt adds. "Fine, but if you are a god why are you stuck in a mortal form?" Farathil questions. Mimsy gives a grim look "I was brought down to the over realm to help Arcadia fight off a dark past". "What's that supposed to mean?" Farathil asks. "It means that the old residents of Old Arcadia have a vengeance against me, and it seems that they made me go into mortal form to fix this". "I thought that old Arcadia went into oblivion" says Kurt. "Exactly, after hundreds of years of living in the complete nothingness of the void the residents are trying to escape" Mimsy
