This is a remake of [link]
Meet Castinet Vakir, national hero of Valvāon. He began as a simple mercenary seeking a way to support his poor family and, through circumstance and with the aid of the gods, he has become an iconic figure of his home country. He fell in love with an aluan woman, the first such relationship in known history, and they bore the only half-aluan to have ever been. Through some cruel design, Castinet was severely injured and lost the last twenty years of his life. Now he must cope with the daughter he doesn't remember, the death of his wife, and the war that devastated his home.
This is the main character in the book I'm writing. This is a companion piece of sorts to [link] which is his daughter. I want to make one of these for each of my main characters.

I love this piece. It tells a story without revealing all the details, and that is what a true artist (in my opinion) should do...Tell a story. Make the person want to listen to what happens next.
