Rather than dive in and mess things up, I let the timer run out until this site automatically migrated us over. Happily, all the art is still intact. That's the part I was most concerned about. We still have all our members, all the art is still here. So, we're good. The admin area has changed in a way that disrupts my workflow, so please be patient as I adapt to the new method of reviewing and accepting stuff. I might make some mistakes here and there. Also, I wonder if anybody is going to read this post? I don't see a way to display it on the home page, so now people have to come to the Posts section voluntarily. It looks like I can make a static text post on the front page and edit it once in a while, but then it's not part of the group's journals. IDK. I'll figure out some routine for it. We've been getting a lot of new members! Welcome! All of the art submissions have been amazing! Please remember the following when submitting your art: 🎨 AI art (if AI is used *anywhere* in your process) goes in the AI Gallery 🎨 Adoptables go in the Adoptables Gallery 🎨 Submitted art should have a Fantasy or Sci-Fi theme We get a LOT of submissions daily, so I have to go through them quickly. Frequently, if your art is submitted to the wrong gallery, I'll just decline the submission. We miss out on a lot of great pieces because of this! 😭

Hello everyone! Now that Halloween 🎃 is over (sigh.) I'll be keeping a particular eye out for autumn-themed fantasy and sci-fi art submissions to the group for showcasing in our Featured gallery. Also, I've made some admin changes to the group to better match our actual submission rules (thank you to those of you who pointed out tips in helpful messages and comments to me). So now you should only be able to submit 2 pieces per week per gallery (that was a huge time sink for me). Also you should only be able to submit to the correct galleries from now on (For example: You should submit your digital art to Digital Art 4, and not Digital Art 2 or Digital Art 3). For our AI artists, make sure you're submitting to the AI Art Gallery and not the Digital Art Gallery! I'm happy to support AI art, but let's keep it in the right place, and please make sure it fits the fantasy/sci-fi theme of our group.
