One Girl in All the World

By fanficbug
Okay . . . so this was for a program over on SheezyArt called "Musical Motivation," or "Project M," which was actually started on deviantArt. [link] :XD:

I did this piece to "One Girl in All the World," a remix on Kenji Yamamoto and Minako Hamano's Super Metroid composition "Brinstar Red Soil Swampy Area" (done by The Wingless), which can be found here: [link]

. . . Whew that was a long sentence. :XD:

I did a bit of postwork on this . . . but the overall fractal remained intact. Although, it was actually two fractals layered on top of each other. :XD:

It's probably my most intense piece yet . . . it tired me out a bit while I was making it. :D

Tools: Apophysis 2.05 Z+ by ~Gygrazok, Photoshop

Hope you guys enjoy. ^_^

Damn, this is excellent. Nice job, Katryna. I'm sure The Wingless would be flattered at this great tribute and inspiration from his ReMix.

He does some excellent visual art himself, check it out: [link] Since making that mix, he's gone on to a career as a professional game developer and artist.

Props on a great gallery as well!

Wow, this was created with Apophysis? ! When I looked at the fractal, I immediately thought of Ultra Fractal. I think this fractal looks gorgeous, I love the spiral pattern and the intense colors. :)

 Thank you. :D It was indeed created in Apophysis, but heavily postworked. :) You can see the original here: [link]

Thanks again for your kind comment . . .

The original is impressive as well, but I must admit I am a sucker for vibrant, intense colors.

 Same here; I need to use them more often, but I get really timid!

What is it with all these brilliant fractals with no comments? The overlaid details are wonderful and the noise gives it a beautiful printed look.

Second thing I've seen inspired (or related to) that one remix.

Great piece, and great song! ^_^

Very nice, I appreciate the fact that this isn't a 'typical' fractal. The grain is gorgeous and the layering worked fairly well (I don't have the slightest idea why there's usually a problem with layering...) but still! Great stuff, this should have alot more comments and favourites. :+fav: +devwatch

A beautiful one!
The center symmetry is a good idea, because many times its an axis symmetry...
The "grain" effect is strange, but it looks nice!

Definitely a great fractal!
