An In-Depth, Critical Look at Beasts Unleashed
Hey guys, Francis here. So, Evox's Revenge is now out. But I decided it's time to do a more in-depth, critical look at Power Rangers Beast Morphers: Episode 1: Beasts Unleashed. So, by now you've probably seen Jake's video, so I'll sum it up differently. The current formulaic pattern of scenes is introduce power source, then the soon to be Red Ranger, and somewhere in there the soon to be Blue Ranger as well, then the comic reliefs, and the token plucky STEM ranger simultaneously. By the second act, have a ranger team of at least two members formed, and the main antagonistic threat revealed. Now Neo-Saban played it safe, but didn't learn from past bad seasons. In Ninja Steel, they reused a civilian setting from Megaforce, being a high school setting. And they took two pages out of Dino Charge's book as well: father issues due to disappearance, and power source first appearing in the past.Hasbro, on the other hand, is playing to the fandom's strong suits. First, they use a power source for the whole fandom: The Morphing Grid energy. Second, they make it somewhat resemble the original source material, by including the weaknesses, that are believable now. Instead of chickens for Devon, it's dogs. For Zoey, instead of sweets, it's now carrots. But they kept the overheating for Ravi, due to power overheating. The third thing Hasbro learned was that technological series have always benefited Power Rangers. If I missed anything for both episodes, let me know for what I missed in Beasts Unleashed in the comments below, and give the RangerNation some time to see Evox's Revenge before you tell me what I missed for that episode. This is FandomMaster50-30000, saying "Stay true to your fandom! M...wC: S8: E10: Dancing with Weezie
Hey guys, FandomMaster here.I am a fan of many fandoms, but one of the ones I grew up with on Netflix in my middle school days was Married...with Children. From that show, I learned one thing: You need a HIGH college degree to get any remotely successful job in life. OH, and that bleach blondes are SUPER easy. I'm kidding! (MEN ONLY: No, I'm not. Just look at the way they portray Kelly Bundy!)Technically, I'm going out of order, but there's two good reasons why: This episode is a cameo gold mine, first of all. Second, and last, this is a perfect example of a media within media fiction. They use both a real show: The Jeffersons, and the first Lite Beer commercial, with two goofs, in one spot: the actor. They argue if it was Billy Martin, or Bubba Smith. It actually was neither of them, but ex-New York Jets player Matt Snell in 1973.So, what's the story for this episode? Well, after Bud finds the remaining bowling shoe Al has left, because the other one is down to "the eyelids", Marcy comes in with tickets to The Jeffersons Movin' On Up Tour that is at their local theater, for that Friday. However, when Al gets home, he has some news of his own: there's a new sports bar opening up in town, the same day of the play. Al and Jefferson then discuss trivia, but it is not too long until they get into the afore mentioned argument about the first Lite Beer commercial's actor. It goes on for two days, until Al says, right in front of Peggy, that they can ask Bubba Smith, and Billy Martin on Friday night at the grand opening of the sports bar. It is not too long before Peggy and Marcy guilt trip Al and Jefferson into going to the play. Bud and Kelly are happy that they don't have to go, but that doesn't last for long, because Al comes up with a plan that he springs into motion on Friday night: Once the lights go, Al and Jefferson leave the building, while Bud and Kelly take their seats. All of the guys who went to the show, that wanted to go to the sports bar had a similar idea too. The argument is escalated in the bar into a bar fight, until both Al and Jefferson need casts put on them. Well, how was this episode? Well, being a person from the age of smartphones, and that kind of stuff gave me access to the info. But all those inside jokes from actually experiencing watching the actual show The Jeffersons can fly over your head, unless you think like what they were thinking during the comedy's prime. Also, Jefferson said he had a tape with Billy Martin as the first Lite Beer guy. That was obviously a joke. I give this four out of ten. The inside jokes can be hit or miss, the Lite Beer commercial thing is okay, but it lasted longer than it should've, and the guilt tripping from their wives, that hurt. This is FandomMaster50-30000, saying "Stay true to your fandom! (No matter how freaky it is...)"

Power Rangers Beast Morphers: E1: Beasts Unleashed
Hey, guys, it's me: FandomMaster50-30000, or Francis. So, we'll be getting episode 2 in a few hours, but before we do, I wanted to do my first review on here, and, ironically, it's on the premiere episode that aired last week. But what exactly is Beast Morphers' source material? Well, to answer that, we have to go back to before Eclipse was a concept: 2012. You see, during that time, not here, but in JAPAN, they were already on a series called Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. Now in 2014, we all thought that was going to be Saban's target to adapt next, and on April 1st, we were dealt a cruel joke with Energy Chasers, with the real one being Dino Charge, an adaptation of the previous Sentai for that year, ZyuDen Sentai Kyoryuuger. But when Hasbro announced Beast Morphers, and debuted the suits, we were shocked that they were going back to a season Saban Entertainment skipped over. So, what is the story for Beast Morphers? Well, let's see... On the day the mayor comes to initiate Morph-X energy flow, and the candidates are supposed to be subject to the first morph, his son, Devon, sees an evil Avatar, later named Evox, in the system. The corrupted Morph-X takes over Blaze, and Roxy, two of the original candidates. The third, Ravi, is saved in the nick of time. The Grid Battleforce headquarters is forced to evacuate, but a lone laundry girl, Zoey, goes and defends the base, with Ravi, and Devon, alongside the child prodigy, Nate. But due to some bizarre sequence of events, they do the first morph with Devon, Zoey, and Ravi, infusing them each with cheetah, jackrabbit, and gorilla DNA, respectively. They then send the Avatar versions of Blaze and Roxy to another dimension, and gather enough data to assume that as long as the Avatar versions are alive, the human versions will be in a sleep like state: comatose, yet brains fully online. So, what did I think of the first episode? Well, the father/son dynamic does have potential to give us some good episodic arcs, and so does the mother/son dynamic between the Commander and Ravi. Also, 98% was original footage, which is actually not surprising due to the high decomposition rate of Sentai suits. Plus the name "Grid Battleforce" was a nice way to keep the Go-Busters signature "GB". Also, the use of the Dark Buster suit, and a repainted, redesigned, Escape Evolve suit was smart.Overall, what's my rating? About nine out of ten stars.Don't get me wrong! It's one of the best I've seen in a long time. It's just that female comic relief... I don't like her. I sense some bad juju magumbo from her.At any rate, this is FandomMaster50-30000, saying "Stay true to your fandom! (No matter how freaky it is)"

I know now when to keep my mouth shut. Sorry, to you people who will be celebrating April Fool's Day, but I just had to put some reasons in your mind. By the way, don't automatically tag me as misogynistic, but from my experience, if you do something in bad taste towards a FEMALE, not a manly heterosexual MALE, but any female, you will be criticized.
In fact, you can be targeted for saying bad stuff about anyone! Sure, I can understand if it has years of racial tension behind it, BUT we created the First Amendment for the specific purpose of FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Yet for some reason, there are people who put other amendments in there to prevent us from fully using it.
If you speak your mind, great. If not, you are missing out.
If you read the title, no, I'm not JOKING!
I HATE April Fools Day, with a burning passion. Why? Let me explain the 4 reasons why.
Number 1: My aunt was BORN on April 1st. NO JOKE. I have an Aunt Celia, born on April 1st! So, when there's a joke devoted to pranking, on a FEMALE RELATIVE'S BIRTHDAY...yeah, you could see where I'd get pissed.
Number 2: Autism Awareness Month is in April. So, to start that month off with the prank holiday of the year? That makes Autism seem like raising awareness for it is in of itself A JOKE! That doesn't sit well with me, being both Asperger's and High Functioning Autistic.
Numbers 3 & 4 are combined but spaced years apart: Super Sentai and Kamen Rider premiered around that same date in both 1971, for Kamen Rider, and 1975, for Sentai. Toku is one of my big fandoms, so I don't like it when I have to do pranks near BIG Toku birthdays.
So, I have familial, personal, and Toku obligations on April 1st. I love to put my reasons each year as that.
Hey guys, I have some news for you:
I'm allowing you guys, the people of the internet, to join my multi-fandom, multi-continuity role play server: Quinity of Justice. And here's the best thing: if we don't have any characters in the casting list channel, or any fandoms you're involved in on there, you can just request them!
