Description
Technically it is a Step Mother Of Groom outfit, but it's not what people look for on the internet, . . . and the acronym for that is "SMOG"
Made to measure for a customer. We had only a few minutes to photograph it so sorry for the wrinkles and poor fit on Polly (our petite dress form). Our customer fills it a lot better and looks absolutely stunning when wearing it.
Made from customer supplied fabrics. Both the jacket and the dress are silk dupion with a pale pink acetate (antistatic) lining.
It was originally planned to have a lace overdress but it looked better without.
The lace applique motifs and rear panel insertion are made from the same lace as the unused overdress.
The jacket was adapted from Simplicity 1558.
The shift dress was adapted from a princess line commercial pattern, but the adaptation was so drastic that the original pattern is unrecognisable.
Feel free to download the image for personal use (eg desktop, screensaver, pinterest, facebook, tumblr, etc) as is, but no derivative works or commercial use please.
