This meme is meant to encourage world building by having ToT characters share information about their homes and some legends of the world. Whether those legends are true or not, who knows? This meme is meant to be answered in character.
Who are you, and where are you from?
What is one thing cool about where you are from?
What is one thing you hate about where you are from?
What is something about your home not many people know about, be it a hidden place or special feature or anything else only locals would know?
What is a piece of folklore, popular or not, from your home? It could be something like a legendary folk hero, a story of how y
Fugue
Species: Gothitelle
Age: 52 Gender: Male
Description:
The co-leader of a clan of renown oracles, the first thing that strikes one about Fugue is an aura of leadership and disdain for fools. With a nearly-omnipresent gaze that condones no nonsense, the middle-aged gothitelle runs things with a sense of professionalism that borders on eerie. That is not to say that he is entirely cold--on the contrary, he knows exactly how to schmooze up clients and stay atop social circles--but his demeanor and position make it clear he will accept no disrespect of himself or his clan.
Fugue is a gothitelle of medium stature, showing his age but not any

Modal Soul Ch 1 Cameo Call
Since I brought the team back, I've made some changes to what I wished to do for chapter one. On that note, I'm doing some more stories for chapter one and am looking for more cameos. Specifically, I plan to do the tasks Tales from Tabira, Show Me Your Moves, Make a Mon Out of You, Battle of the Bandit, and maaaaaybe Sanitize and Hypothesize.
If you are interested in being cameo'd, just post below saying which characters you want cameo'd, what tasks you'd be doing, whether or not you want speaking roles, and any other additional info that would be helpful.
Close your eyes. Breathe. Focus. Each step was as natural as walking, but I silently repeated the mantra regardless. The world was fading away, the wind against my fur and the murmurings of the gathered crowd seemed miles apart from me, dreamlike, even. I slipped further and further into my trance, like sinking into a quicksand made of feather pillows, and all the while time and space seemed to halt and be pulled back like cheap wallpaper.
That was ideal, or would be for most readings. But for this affair it was not necessary to go so deep. Catching myself, my eyes snapped open, and I thrust my wand out with a flourish. My eyes coul

Ask Mobster Rollers and Modal Soul Batch #1
From Chip (to Cha-Cha): Wow, I heard you fought in the Glennish War! Got any good fighting tips?
Cha-Cha: You’re very enthusiastic! I like that. Ok, I’ll share some tips of mine. I think my time as a bounty hunter will be more useful to you than my time as a soldier.
The first tip I have is to do as much research as you can. Yes, really. I know it sounds boring, but knowing the options available to you and how others have dealt with a nasty situation can mean the difference between a triumphant victory and getting shipped back to your parents in a box. In fact, I'd say that's more important than power and abilities; those are

Because she doesn’t have a mouth like others, Salsa eats by liquefying her food with strong poison and then slurping it down. Strangely, she still cares about the texture of food, such as liking crunchy or grainy food and things like that. In her spare time, she likes to make different versions of her poison with spices to give foods an extra kick.

Bou is inspired heavily by The Batter from OFF. This is why she is obsessed her demented crusade to kill all witches and speaks in a very long-winded, stilted way. It’s also why I made her name a pun in French (albeit a bad one): ‘Bourreau’ being a French word for ‘executioner’. Likewise, her ‘the earth is calling you’ line is similarly inspired by ‘purification in progr

So You Thought You Could Dance (Commission)
It was always Iglooie’s dream to dance in front of a live audience. Well, no, that wasn’t true--it would be more accurate to say that was his dream after he saw Crimson dancing for the first time. But it wasn’t a bad one, he figured. He couldn’t deny there was an inherent appeal to being up on stage, all lights on you, twirling and prancing with a smooth rhythm that kept the audience mesmerized. And when the finale came, he would finish his last move with a flourish and bow. The audience would stand, going wild with cheers and applause. He’d feel proud. He’d feel confident.
So why was it that, as

Age: 56 at time of death
Description:

The rogue mage was close. Jett could feel it in his bones...and his nose. The scent of ozone pervaded the dry air, charged with a static both literal and figurative that made his hair stand on end. The smell of imminent danger...just how he liked it, Jett thought with a grin. His walking stick tapped out against the ground with small clacks. Concrete, in bad shape judging by the cracks and bumps his stick kept hitting. The target had holed themselves up in an urban area--he sniffed again--an old one, judging by the dust motes tickling his nose.
Jett felt a hand lay on his shoulder, gently guiding him to the right. “This way,R

Intermission 6 - High Tide
Mizmar
Welcome to Tranquil Tides. I am Mizmar, Algeen’s mayor. Normally, I wouldn’t come so far on land, but we’re just as alarmed as you that a fleet of pirates passed through our waters. I want to be very clear about where we stand and what we know.
Their ships moved quickly over sea. Having seen them from the bottom, my scouts indicate that they’re fitted with ice breakers… Now that seems very odd, since there is no ice to break on the western sea. But ice floes and glaciers are a serious problem on the northern sea. If they in fact did come from so far away, it’s strange. Their ships were fast enough t
