Greeting Friendos! Here are this post of songs to listen while wondering a land with no end. In this post there are going to be a few old songs from the 1920s such as Candy Rock Mountain and The Wandering Boy, but overall I have always found County/Bluegrass very suiting to Fallout.
The First song for this post is the 1955 Tennessee Ernie Ford version of "Sixteen Tons" This is a great song for those who are another day older and deeper in dept.
Next we have "Six Feet of Earth" by Sonny Burns. I had wanted to use 1928 song "Six Feet of Earth Makes Us All One Size" by Oscar L. Coffey but the song felt a bit too slow for this post so I chose a different version that still conveyed the feeling of death which fills the world of Fallout
Next we have "The Wondering Boy" by the Carter Family now this one is kind of old. I personally like the musical style of Maybelle Carter.
Next we have the 1928 song "Big Candy Rock Mountain" by Harry McClintock. This is one of those songs that had many revisions as it is based of old hobo tales. Still this is one of those I like to imagine being sung where one is looking for a paradise.
Next we have the 1958 song "Blue Boy" by Jim Reeves. A fun song those who are a blue boy (pun intended) as called Blue by Piper.
To end on a fun note here is the 1961 song "You Can Have Her" by Ray Hamilton. Now this is a great F@*K You song you can sing with grin.
