Also known as too busy to get a damn thing done :P Well, thankfully since my last post I have managed to snag a job. Personally I think a rather nice job at that. Better benefits and workload than my last job and gives me a lot more experience in design formats and they're even giving me time to go back to school to improve my web/php knowledge Its awesome The down side to all of this is that they're keeping me so busy I have had no time to drawing anything new. I was so bummed about losing my job, I kind of felt any time I spent drawing could be better used to job hunt. And now that I have the job, I don't have time to draw.b Which really

A Recap

Well, I just realized I've barely touched my da account in MONTHS. In fact, I haven't posted anything since back in July which is doubly sad. Well, AWA was a lot of fun and a great success. It was great meeting all of you that came by. The convention was immediately followed up by a trip to the Big Apple in October for my fiancé's job. This was terrific! I highly recommend to everyone that has the means to go spend a few days roaming around Manhattan; especially the Village. It's just great. No way around it. Unfortunately, upon returning from NY I had to rush to get a magazine out the door only to have them turn around and immediately

...and I hit the 10,000 mark! Don't get me wrong, thanks to everyone who has come to visit my site, but damn, I can't believe I missed it. I was gonna to do a Kiraban or something for anyone who got a screenshot of it, but completely missed it (speaking o' which, I still have to finish my 9,000 piece. Been busy). So, thanks a lot and how about this: get a screenshot of 10,100 and we'll call that a Kiraban for anyone inserted. Meanwhile, if you did happen to snag the 10,00 just email it to me and I'd really appreciate it. So here's to 2009, more art, AWA and other cons and hopefully getting a JOB by then! Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the fave.
With regards to the art/work conflict, the only answer is self discipline, which I also have a terrible problem with. There is no shortcut I am afraid.
Set aside a specific period for it. Say Sunday evening for two hours and stick to it.
