Protip: Don't teach liberal studies classes in a computer lab when it's not necessary and just tell people to turn off their monitors. Because we're all just going to ignore you and go back to browsing the web.

Also the protest was totally weaksauce. It probably was actually made up of "2 parts reporters, 2 parts cops, and 1 part protestors," but out of that 1 part protestors, it was probably 1 part protestor who supported the cause, 2 part random protestor who just likes to protest and be a nuisance, and 2 part random hobo/passerby.

Still more interesting than the lesson though.
