Miniature jewel frames by fairyfrog Miniature jewel frames by fairyfrog
Commission experiment for :iconmeluseena: Summer 2009.

I made her small frames for her to set her lovely digital miniature art prints in. I was out of school over summer when I made these, so they were created at home in my kitchen! ..It was quite the challenge.

Small decorated bezel frames, the centers of them "rugged" for the epoxy or glass varnish to stick better over the images. Approx. 2 inches across the widest parts.

They are absolutely great, I've been looking for things of the sort for a long, long time where I live, but so far no luck.
How exactly did you manage to make them in your kitchen?

I set up a small torch I bought at the gas station, building a soldering station in my kitchen, the wood board I use when piercing silver I screwed onto my ironing board to get the right height and I got myself a small drill at the local bargain shop. =)
