Knight and Dame gold wedding rings by fairyfrog Knight and Dame gold wedding rings by fairyfrog
Sneak preview of my latest wedding ring project!

18k white and red gold, made from scratch my melting scrap metal and forging it myself, including the miniature rivets along the edges.
I wanted to make rings that was contemporary as well as timeless.
I got an amazing compliment on these while in the making, from a man who's been working 20 years for Cartier.

"Sarah - You don't make jewelry. You create art."

Well, yeah, 99% of the commercial jewelry I see is the same dull, boring, soulless stuff I've seen for decades, even though it it may be covered in diamonds. You do art.
