I would take a kitsune wife, I'm that desperate for a woman in my life.

This is a fine location. It helps the picture tell a story. I'm seeing a kitsune, now old enough to change to human form wandering the ruins of a place she knew. The wordless, indistinct memories of the "time before" blending with what she knows now. Sucking on the opium pipe and wearing the kimono of the woman who lived here, and would leave mochi out for her, hoping the association will spur further memories. The walls burn in the setting sun, is that a flicker of something else in her mind? No matter, she's a kitsune, not a mortal, she has time.

You're welcome, and thank you for the words of appreciation! I've always had a soft spot for kitsune, so work as good as yours is bound to inspire me.
