I love travelling into little hidden villages that no one else visits and making friends with the locals.

I live in a pretty and very friendly city in South Africa called Port Elizabeth.

I love tv games like pacman, old charlies circus, old mario brothers... you know, the kind where you can only run left or right, and jump up or down.

My inspiration for making cakes doesn't really come from any cake maker, though I'm often awestuck by a lot of them, I get my inspiration from movies, tv games and an appetite for delicious cake! So if you ever decide to brave sunny SA feel free to pop round for tea and cupcakes!

I am currently hunting down a sock thief... so far I have determined that he/she/it is only 15 cm tall and has an obsession with polka hearts and sailor anchor patterns. There's also a potential superstition that it should take nothing in pairs. So if you see me wearing odd socks, know that I am working hard to resolve the situation
