Chapter 13 - Training Day
The next morning came too quickly. I open my eyes to see Leaf laying near the dying fire, Raposa’s family lying next to him. It was such an adorable site, the young elf laying with the foxes. It would have been seen as something very elf like back in my world.
Remembering what happened the day before, of how the two of us could see what the other person was thinking, I tried to send a mental image to Leaf of what I was seeing. Leaf’s body stirs before one of his eyes opens. He gives a soft smile, apparently seeing the mental image I sent him.
Then an image came into my mind. I saw myself, a large black and brown Fenrir curled up in a ball. Between my side and massive fluffy tale, I could see a small orange patch of fur. Raposa was completely engulfed by my fur, looking more akin to a plushy toy. But seeing it from Leaf’s eyes, and feeling her warmth next to me, gave me a pleasant filling in my heart.
