Bronies are Perverts

That's the opinion of that idiot who wrote the article Triumph of the Bronies: Hasbro Turning My Little Ponies Into Sexy Human Characters. Neigh.  

Here's a bit or a background for those of you unfamiliar with bronies.  My Little Pony (MLP)  is a franchise centered around pony characters that has been around since the 80's.  A few years ago, a new generation of MLP was created called  "Friendship is Magic" (FIM).  This new generation had become fairly popular among older audiences.  The male segment of this older generation has been called "Bronies".   Equestria Girls is a MLP  movie which features the pony characters from FIM as human teenage girls. .  

Now, there are parents who are concerned about Equestria Girls and Amanda Marcotte has decided to blame it on the Bronies (who's only crime is being interested in a show with female characters)

She basically spends the latter half of the article saying that Equestria Girls was done to appeal to bronies because bronies have sexual fantasies about ponies.

There is so much wrong with that claim I have no idea were to start, but I'll try.

First of all, she uses the existence MLP porn to stereotype all bronies as perverts.  Never mind the fact that it common sense that there is porn of about particularly everything.   Why doesn't she write an article about the countless adult women who rub themselves raw thinking about young boy characters like Link.

Secondly. Bronies became fans of the characters when the chracters were ponies, before Equestria Girls was even mentioned). So the idea that the majority of  bronies are somehow dreaming about having having sex with the pony characters only makes sense if the majority of bronies are somehow into bestiality (and if that really were the case, why would Hasbro need to humanize characters to appeal to bronies if they were attracted to horses).  

Third and most importantly, does this stupid woman think that the majority of bronies are attracted to the big-headed, stick-bodies Bratz wannabees that Equestria Girls has turned the main cast into.

Oh Yeah, Bratz, the series of insanely sexualized dolls marketed at young girls.  Now tell me Marcotte, if Bronies are so eager to stick their dicks into the Equestria Girl humanized ponies,  then why isn't the Bratz series over run with this same adult male fans.

Apparently, the idea that men could simply like a well-written show about female characters is too much for Miss Marcotte

I think that Miss Marcotte is the one with the pony fetish.  I've heard multiple people talk about Equestria Grils, yet Marcotte is the only person who has referred to the humanized pony characters as "sexy".  Rather than get help for her pedophile tendencies, she prefers to write insanely bigoted articles slandering bronies
