My daily joy

Journal Entry: Thu May 21, 2015, 4:19 PM

I can stand no computer, no camera, no gas, no water...

But no pencil and no paper is terrible.

Daily Deviation

Extreme Lives - # 46

Thanks a lot to Loisa for suggesting my comic strip Extreme Lives - #46 for the Daily Deviation and Moonbeam13 for featuring it! Meeting the weekly deadline is a killer, even if the strips don't span further than 5 panels max (which explains my lack of other deviations lately). This, along with comments, makes it all worth.

Thank you all, and read the new strip next Friday! :D

Some of my artwork in Animation Carnival magazine

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 15, 2014, 10:14 AM

Animation Carnival magazine showcases some of my artwork on two pages in its Artist's Page section. Although some years have passed since I did the works shown, the news have made my day.

Animation Carnival
is an Indian digital magazine that can be read online or downloaded for free in the link down below.

(you may experience a broken link depending on the site's maintenance)

Extreme Lives - It is up!

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 21, 2014, 8:02 AM

At last! I can start showing the small and simple project I have been working on since the beginning of this year. I don't think it needs much of an introduction, it is all about everyday situations happening at your average home.

Extreme Lives is published every Friday on its own blog. I hope you like it, comments are welcome as always!

I am open for commissions. All the information related is as follows.

:bulletgreen: Media used for commissions :bulletgreen:

I do traditional and digital artwork. I use color and graphite pencils, ink, and watercolor to some extent for traditional artwork. I use Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Flash for digital artwork. I use a scanner for converting traditional artwork into digital files for online publishing.

:bulletgreen: Deliverables :bulletgreen:

I deliver comissions as high-res files ready for color printout at 300 DPI, any size. Final file format is high-quality JPEG. Sorry, I am not currently delivering the comission as a printout, even if you the cost of printing and postal mail service fees.

:bulletgreen: Payments :bulletgreen:

Payments through PayPal only (sorry, no Western Union or other means). Please don't think of sending me actual money in an envelope, as I won't accept it. Also, please make sure PayPal doesn't take away a fee during the transaction (you might do a mass payment, depending on your kind of PayPal account).

:bulletgreen: Copyrights :bulletgreen:

The commission delivered is for private, individual, non-profit use, and I retain the full copyright over the image created. I can use the image for self-promotional purposes (typically, including it in my portfolio) after being delivered, at a resolution not higher than the one in which the commission was delivered.

:bulletgreen: Time frame for commissions :bulletgreen:

Typical time frame for completing artwork is about a week. This may vary according to the requirements for each order. In every case I will be advancing you a finishing date as I progress on the commission.

:bulletgreen: Ordering a commission :bulletgreen:

Order a commission by sending me (fabianfucci) a note with the subject 'Order for commission.' State as much information as possible about your idea, character, or scene, and I will offer you choices for prices and finishes. Once decided, send half of the payment and I will start work on the commission after confirmation. I will be sending low-resolution snapshots of the work in progress, allowing up to two major changes before going final. Once finished, I will send you a watermarked, low-resolution image. After receiving the second and last half of the payment, I will deliver the image file in high resolution with no watermark, ready for printout.

NOTE: Although I am an MSN and Skype user and can be found online most of the time, I strongly prefer to be contacted by a note on dA.

:bulletgreen: Do's / Don'ts :bulletgreen:

I am open to any subject / ideas / concepts. However, in the case I don't feel comfortable with a particular subject, I will state it clearly prior to accept the job. In the best case, I will try to find a suitable twist on the subject in order to get the commission done.

:bulletgreen: Art trades :bulletgreen:

Sorry, no art trades for now, unless you are willing to wait for an uncertain deadline for delivery, or I myself feel like doing a trade.
