This will be the first photo I've posted of my new kitten Calista. She is about 3 months old now and we got her when she was about 4-5 weeks. A friend of my mum's found her out in the street dodging cars late at night =( She was pretty out of shape her eyes were extremely gunked up and infected, she had ear mites, an upper repertory infection, and her fur was extremely dry and rough. Despite being beaten up she was very spunky and wanted to play. We are not exactly sure what she is but we are pretty sure she is part Birman [link] . She has the dark ears and tail, sapphire blue eyes, and the mitten paws but her face has yet to full develop which may take years. Her face is slowly darkening though =)

***She is not part Siamese. We know this because my mother and I are allergic to Siamese they make us sneeze and make our eyes and noses run.***

Aww wow! Instant favourite on my part. the depth and emotion, like some sort of longing, in her eyes is beautiful and the story behind her makes it even more effective.
:D Kudos for such a great shot! :D

Nice picture. She looks more like part Ragdoll than Birman though.

We actually think she's a snowshoe since she is short haired :)

Hmm yes that would make better sense, since ragdolls are generally long-haired. Good, good. ^-^

I remember faving this one years ago on my old account and stumbling across it again, I can see why I added it. Such a stunning photograph of a remarkable cat. We need more people like you in this world, taking care of the ones that no-one loves. It's fantastic to see the incredible change from what she was, to what she looks like here and it goes to show that with a little love and TLC, any cat can be a stunner. :)

Nice cat, and the blue of the eye stand out strangely but in a good way.

This is pure evidence that even when you find a creature in the abismal state you say she was in, with the right love and care you can turn a scruffy stray into a stunning little angel ^^ She is breathtakingly beautiful, I really admire the way you've captured her <3

She is Gorgus I dunno if anyones told you but I'm pretty sure she is or crossed with one, She is probarlley by the looks ( a neighbor of mine bred them ) a breed called a Snowshoe [link] .

She's a very pretty cat and it's good she has a good home now rather than the horrid streets D:
