Melanoid Event - 2018

Part 1

The days are becoming warmer this time of the year. 
Bot is glad spring slowly sneaks in. On his morning walk he noticed a couple of pretty black flowers!



He's seen those before.
Aren´t they a sign for something to happen?

Then he remembers!

It is said that this flower only blooms once a year and effects all hatching Evoloon eggs while it is blooming!
He runs off to show his friends!

For those new to this event!

March 24th is the Anniversary of our group, and to Celebrate each year for a limited amount of time you can make Melanoid Evoloons!!
Melanoid Evoloons are a time based mutation that is not breedable and can not be attained any other time of the year!
Making a Melanoid Evoloon is super easy! All you have to do is take ANY Evoloon design, but the areas that are normally white are black instead!! 

Melanism can be given to any kind of Evoloon. Normal, rainbow, safari, chocolate, and even Ancients and Blessed!

You may choose ONE of the above eggs as a free gift!!

- Every user can make a maximum of 4 Melanoid Evoloons.

- The Gen1 egg gift will NOT be added to the treasury and you DO NOT need to make a treasury comment to use it.

- Any other Gen1 eggs (that you have purchased or won in previous events) used to make Melanoid Evoloons DO NEED a treasury comment just like always!

- Please visibly mark which Evoloon is made using the Gen1 egg gift LIKE THIS

- Please submit your Melanoid design just like you'd submit any other Evoloon design, in the Evoloon Approval Folders. There is no special folder for Melanoid Evoloons.

- You only need to have your design submitted before the deadline. Edits and approval can be made after the deadline.

One year ago the Evoloons of Loonia rescued the first hatched Melanoid Evoloons by gathering a lot of healthy star fruits from a mysterious place.

This year, to honor the power of this fruit, Evoloons from all over Loonia are planting the glowing white seeds of the star fruit to raise new star fruit trees.

 You can only do 1 entry! 

Draw your Evoloons (max. 6) planting the glowing seeds of this fruit.

Each Evoloon must fulfill the Visibility Rule.
The drawing needs a nature background with depth.
The drawing needs to be colored!! No abstract coloring allowed.
Shading optional.

Rewards
For each Evoloon in your picture (max. 6) you can choose one upgrade (no companions!) from the upgrade list. 
You can give these upgrades to any of your upgradeable Evoloons.


Bonus Rewards for long time members
For each Melanoid Evoloon from 2017 shown in your picture you will earn 2 upgrades instead of 1!
Make sure to add a link to your 2017 Melanoid Evoloon´s approval arts as proof 

Examples:
Your image shows 1 Evoloon which is not a 2017 Melanoid = you can pick 1 upgrade
Your image shows 1 2017 melanoid Evoloon = you can pick 2 upgrades!
Your image shows 1 Evoloon which is not a 2017 Melanoid  AND 1 2017 Melanoid = you can pick 3 upgrades!
