Genoloon Egg by LoonianVault

Genoloons are a sub-type of Evoloons. They are pretty rare.

To make a Genoloon, you need to have received a Genoloon Egg from an event.

Anatomy and Creation Rules

  • Genoloons are born with one upgrade from the Upgrade List. Depending on the chosen upgrade, it can affect/void the basic creation rules;
  • The same creation rules as the regular Evoloon apply, except for those:
    • They have longer/thinner features than regular Evoloons and a fluffy chest fur. See the reference above. To create your Genoloon, you can use this base:
      • Genoloons are taller, their legs are longer;
      • They have a longer body;
      • They have a longer neck;
      • They have a longer slimmer head and muzzle;
      • They have longer ears;
      • In short, they are more deer-shaped than regular Evoloons;
      • Chest fur is mandatory;
    • White areas are: eyebrows, eye bag/line, inner-ears, snout, chest fur, chest and belly, thumbs and fawn spots;
    • Fawn spots can be round or rice shaped;
    • Eyes: Pupil is black. Sclera has 2 colors, split horizontally, and can be gradient. They have no iris;
  • You must link the treasury approval comment in the description of the approval sheet (egg hatching).
  • Genoloons must be submitted in this folder for approval: Approved Genoloons.

Bonuses and Advantages

Unlocks
ONE (and always the same) upgrade for ALL of your upgradeable Evoloons. The Genoloon is born with this upgrade. It can be any upgrade from the Upgrade List. For the Evoloons receiving the upgrade from the advantage (not the Genoloon), the upgrade can be applied AFTER birth, not on the approval sheet.

If your Evoloon is heartbonded to a Genoloon, they get the Genoloon advantage, meaning they can get the Genoloon bonus upgrade and share it with your other Evoloons (relevant if the Genoloon belongs to a friend).

Breeding

Genoloons can only pass down common natural mammal colors. They cannot pass down their anatomic features, their upgrade or their bonuses. See the Breeding Guide for more details.

Trading a Genoloon

If you trade your Genoloon, your new Evoloons cannot be born with the Genoloon upgrade, but Evoloons who already have the upgrade won't lose it.

The Genoloon will be heartbroken and won't be able to get new upgrades until the new owner mend their heart. The new owner will be able to use the Genoloon bonus even if the Evoloon's heart is broken. You can find the general trading rules in the Trading Rules journal.

Breaking Up With a Heartbonded Genoloon

When a heartbond is broken, both Evoloons have their heart broken, meaning they cannot gain new upgrades until they have their heart healed. The Genoloon advantage will still be active for all Evoloons belonging to the Genoloon's owner.

If your Evoloon is not a Genoloon, and their heartbonded partner is a Genoloon but belongs to a friend, your Evoloon will lose the ability to shared their Genoloon upgrade to your new Evoloons. Evoloons who already have the upgrade won't lose it, including the former heartbonding partner.

Bases

To design your Genoloon, you can use one of the official Evoloon bases. You have to credit the base to Evoloons in the description of your approval sheet.

Race Creation History

Genoloons have been introduced in the winter 2018 event. After attending to the offering to winter ceremony, Evoloons would find a strange new egg.
