This is a list of upgrades for companions, and the art tasks to complete to get them.
To change the colors and/or markings of a companion, you need a Paint Potion.

Rules
- Each artwork needs to have a background with depth.
- Each artwork needs to show your Evoloon and their companion according to the Visibility Rule.
- If your Evoloon got their companion through a trade or gift, you first have to draw them together showing their friendship at least once to unlock the ability to get upgrades. The artwork that was required for the trade does not count.
- If you have to draw a comic, at least one panel needs to show both Evoloon and Companion according to the Visibility Rule.
- Make a tracker for your companion to have proof it earned those upgrades! You can also just make a comment chain in your Evoloon's tracker; just make sure you have a proof if someone asks for it.
You can use only one Evoloon per task, but if your Evoloon has more than one companions, they can all be there and get the upgrade. All companions will need to fulfill the visibility rule.- Submit each artwork here.
Companions Upgrades and Tasks
Fangs / Tusks / Saber Fangs
Draw a comic with at least 3 panels of your Evoloon giving their Companion a chewing toy.
At least 1 panel needs to fulfill the Visibility Rule for both the Evoloon and the Companion.
Scars
Draw the companion protecting their Evoloon friend from an attacker.
Hair
Draw your Evoloon enjoying a new hair style. How does their companion react? (You can only do this if your Evoloon already has the hair upgrade)
Ears
Make an animation showing your Evoloon whispering something to their companion. The animation doesn't need to be voiced.
Remember to make them both fullbody with a background.
You now can change the companion's ears / add ears / remove them.
Canine / Feline Tail
Draw your Evoloon's companion chasing Gaia's Tail. Is your Loon amused? Or maybe embarrassed?
You now can add a canine / feline tail to your companion or change your companion's tail to one. This does not make it possible to have multiple tails!
Armor
Draw a comic with at least 4 panels showing your Evoloon creating fashion for their companion.
Add any mammalian armor to your Evoloon's companion.
Feathers
Draw your Evoloon and their companion crafting something out of feathers.
You now can add or remove feathers from your companion.
Feathered Wings
Your Evoloon and their companion are experiencing parachuting! Draw them showing expressions. Are they enjoying it? Are they scared?
You now can add feathered wings to your companion. If it already has wings, you may make them bigger, smaller,
remove them, add more...Insect Wings (Your companion needs to have wings before you can earn insect wings)
Draw your Evoloon and their companion hunting bugs.
You now can change your companion's wings to insect wings.
Fish-Tail (Your companion needs a tail before it can earn a fish-tail)
Draw your Evoloon and their companion swimming in the ocean and playing with some fish friends.
You now can change your Evoloon's companion's tail into a fish tail.
Scales
Draw your Evoloon and their companion fishing in a boat.
Your now can give your companion scales.
Fins
Your Evoloon and their companion found a treasure! How do they react?
Your Companion can now have fins on its body.
More or fewer eyes
Your Evoloon and their companion are on their way home. It's late and they think someone or something is watching them.
Draw a comic with at least 4 panels. Do they make their way home without freezing in fear?
You can now add more eyes to your companion, or remove some.
Sparkles
Novaleen is creating some glittering potions in her secret lab. Her trashcan outside is not a secret. Looks like your loon's companion is taking a bath in the sparkling trash. Draw your Evoloon reacting to their companion's doing.
You now can add sparkles to your companion's body.
Antlers / Horns (NOT unicorn horns)
Your loon and their companion are camping and enjoying a camp fire with at least 3 other Evoloons (yours or your friend's. You can also use our mascot Bot
or other NPCs). All Evoloons need to fulfill the visibility rule!You now can add horns or antlers to your companion.
Unicorn Horn
Draw your Evoloon and their companion dressed as unicorns. Aren't they pretty?
Your companion now grows a unicorn horn!
Spikes
Your Evoloon's companion had a little accident. It got a thorn in one of its paws / wings / somewhere on its body.
Draw a comic of at least 3 panels showing your Evoloon helping their little friend.
Glow
Your Evoloon's companion sees a ghost! Does their Evoloon friend believe them? Maybe they see it too? Draw their reaction.
Your companion can now glow!
Stitched Buttons
Draw your Evoloon crafting a doll that looks just like their companion. What does the actual companion thing about it?
Your companion can now have stitched buttons on its body!
Metal Parts on Body
Draw your Evoloon and their companion dressed as knights!
You can now add metal parts on your companion's body.
Mechanical Eyes
Your Evoloon and their companion are in need for tools to build a robot! Draw a comic of min. 3 panels showing what kind of tools they are going to use.
Your companion now can have mechanical eyes instead of its usual eyes.
Metal Spikes
Someone is trying to steal your Evoloon's toolbox! Show your companion protecting it. This art needs to show another creature or Evoloon (as thief). If you're going to use one of your friend's character, make sure you have the permission to use them.)
Your companion now can have metal spikes on their body!
Bone Limbs
Your companion's favourite toy broke. Draw a comic of at least 4 panels showing your Evoloon and their companion dealing with this.
Your companion can now have bone limbs (neck, legs,
wings or tail can be bones - they need to already have wings or a tail to turn them to bones).More Mouths
Your Evoloon and their companion can't eat enough of their favourite food. Draw them having a feast.
Your companion now can have more mouths / beaks (only if they already have a beak!)
Multiple Heads
Draw a comic of at least 4 panels. Your evoloon and their companion are cleaning up their place. They bump each other's heads by accident. Ouch!
Your companion now can grow more heads (only where its original head is, like Cerberus or an hydra)
Transparent Skin
Your evoloon and their companion are trying to create art but they seem to have an art block. Draw them fighting the artblock!
Your companion now can have transparent skin!
Bone Armor
Your companion found a skull outside. Draw it scaring your Evoloon with it.
Your companion now can have a bone armor.
More/Less LegsYour Evoloon and their companion fall into a bug's nest while taking a hike. Draw a 3 panels comic showing the event and their reaction.
You companion can now have more or less legs.
Webbed WingsThe wind is very strong! Show your Evoloon and their companion trying not to get swiped again (or losing the fight against the wind).
If your companion has wings, you can replace them by webbed wings. If not, you can add webbed wings to your companion.
AntennasYour Evoloon and their companion are lost! Draw a 3 panel comic showing them trying to find their way.
Your companion can now have insect antennas.
FrillsYour Evoloon and their companion cross the path of a strange and scary creature! Show their reaction and the creature. The creature must fulfill the visibility rules.
You companion can now have natural frills (or remove them).
FurIt's very cold! Show your Evoloon and their companion trying to get warm.
Your companion can now have fur.
More earsWhat's that noise? Draw a 3 panel comic showing your Evoloon and their companion investigating a strange noise. What do they find?
In order to add more ears, your companion needs to already have ears.
Slime / goo limbs and/or skinYour Evoloon and their companion are trapped in a mud pool! Draw the situation.
Your companion can now have slime / goo limbs and/or skin. Only applies on existing limbs.
