Dragon-Cursed - Shae

Shae used to be a humble dragon hunter from a small village. He did it for the money, mostly, and to protect the local farmers and cattle drivers from poaching dragons. That is, until the Curse caught him. No one knows how it spreads, or to who it spreads, but it is known that the dragon hunters were the first to contract it when the great elder spat it out with his dying breath. Shae was shunned, kicked out from his family and town. He wandered aimlessly, giving up hope many times as he clawed frantically at his wrists with his ever-lengthening fingers. Somewhere along the way he began to accept it, to adapt. The loss of his hands was harsh, and he knew he'd need help if he was to survive in a world that feared and hated his kind. So, he eventually found himself in a small colony of dragon-cursed living with an alchemist who is attempting to find a cure for the 'disease.' And that is where Tanis and Taron find him...

The colored version of the sketch in my scraps, and yet another character of the Dragon-Cursed world, much like Nagindra and Tanis and Taron. ^_^ Just a simple piece done between working on commissions to keep myself from going crazy ;D
