Great to see you back again. This was a fun story. Always good to revisit eviltwinmordred TV! A plot device reminiscent of your old Reversal of Fortune. I'm something of a evitwinmordred/previous name completest.
It was a riff on a post Attack Angels Reardon. A drug was administered through bare feet. - unusual for one of youe stories. I have tried to send this multiple time so not sure his is working. I'll try to also send the text but I have my doubts on my ability.
Lovely plot backed up with terrific MC Mordred. You are so very good at taking the victim from defiance to acceptance. The characters in this short are very well done and the reader can already glean some of the issues and backstory going with events and personalities. As I have said before, you are so great at putting in so much with so few words. That's an art. Not a whole lot of people have it. I hope this story continues if that is your plan.
So glad to have you back in action, and what a great story to kick things off! Confident and cocky college detective Delilah assumes that she's about to one-up her own friends, but our villain knows exactly how to use that simmering resentment against her.
I love the fact that the Phantom really didn't need to do much beyond tweaking Del's moral compass to turn her from crime-solving heroine to obedient, devoted servant. Here's hoping for a future installment in which Penny and Tricia's talents are also put to better use!
