Anyone got any awesome parodies that I haven't seen? Please link to the journal for the collection in the group favorites.

Also, how's everyone doing? Got any tutorials you'd also like to share for our group favorites? Red line, writen, or comment critiques are perfectly acceptable for the critique section of the group gallery.

Have a nice day. :)

Well it looks like Tom Preston aka Andrew Dobson has finally closed his dA account.

Yep. Anyway not much interested in this club anymore. Know anyone who might be able to take care of it?

Holy shit, I didn't realize the invite was for Co-Founder.

I hope you like your new position. And do you know anyone else who'd be up for another position as Co-Founder?

I guess, though I don't know what it is you really want me to do around here.  I'm barely involved in this group as it is.  :\

Ah sorry. I need someone else around to look after the group, I'm low on options on who else would be available.

You know looking through your galleries, I see your hatred of TP, and I know several people who hate on me who claim to be his personal pupils.  So I kinda look at his work with suspicioun, despite favoriting some of his work in the past.

But quite frightening to me, is the amount of commentators who hate TP on the work in your gallery, who have been struck out/banned!  Is TP the most powerful man of Deviant Art?  Should I like shy away from anything that criticizes him?

You should not shy away from criticism, after all, its all just parody work and promoting the artwork of the members. This place is manly for people to learn from him to do better.

You think that Preston's Cult of Personality, I mean fanbase could be a part of the problem on why he doesn't accept criticism all that much?
AtlantaTheAristocrat Featured By Owner Aug 25, 2014  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I think that is part of it. He does have a large fan base that strokes his ego and gives him asspats when he post depressing stuff.

And I think it was rather low of him to connect his depression problems with Robin Williams. Mr. Williams struggled and preformed to make others happy, Preston did nothing but post drawings that only brought 'controversy'.
