Antiquing Paper by evilpokejuggalette Antiquing Paper by evilpokejuggalette
I spent my afternoon antiquing paper with tea bags. I then found a random poem and wrote it out using my peacock feather quill pen and india ink. It's been about two years since I have written with my quill pens so there are quite a few blots. I also wrote entirely by candlelight.

The props: I have had the cannonball paperweight for so long that I can't remember where I got it, but it reminds me of my grandfather who used to collect miniture cannons. The candlesticks were given to me by my mother. The candy dish on the left was given to my fiance by his mother before she died and it belonged to her mother or grandmother. The books I have purchased from thrift stores over the past year and the feather on top came from a turkey. I bought the peacock feather quill pen at a wiccan store in a flea market about 5 years ago. The little wax-topped bottles at the base of the candlesticks are different colored inks that came with a glass pen set that my mother-in-law gave me last year for Christmas.
