Over time, pain from losing friends, people close to you, even family. It starts to weaken. Soon enough, you find yourself unfazed by death. At that point, you can't go back from seeing death as a natural thing. Being immortal also never helps. In the short term, it sounds like the greatest thing ever. Then you get to the inevitable long term. And that's when you realise it's the worst of all curses. Outliving everyone, knowing you yourself will outlive them. Worst thing ever. And it never gets easier. You just have to move on. It's the way the world goes.
