While it may seem this is a relativley quick turnaround, I've been working on this for a long time after overtime shifts. Consequently, it's far from my best work! I'm okay with it, I think it's pretty good, but I see a lot of problems in anatomy now that it's done. Oh well! Learning experiences one and all :)

as for the subject material, I'm a big fan of making light of "taboo" subjects, such as gender roles in any given situation. The catch 22's of being a guy or a girl. Sometimes the rules make sense, sometimes they don't, and usually guys get caught in between a rock and a hard place. A fun read for all of you would be "Why a man can't win" with such zingers as;

-If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race, you are a male chauvinist.
If you stay home and do the housework, you are a pansy

-If you cry, you are a wimp.
If you don't, you are an insensitive bastard.

-If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy, that's domination.
If she asks you, it's a favor.

Those make me laugh every time! And concerts are no different. It is totally not cool to mosh a woman, but if she moshes you, thats fine. I don't know who makes the rules, but it's best to follow them, and lampoon them later ;)

Hopefully after this week overtime will be done, so I can work while not nearly dead :XD: speaking of which, it's unusual for me to upload this time of day, but that because I'm sticking it on here before I go to work! Really that small window of opportunity is all I have to post these days. So I hope you like it more than I do!

Take care everyone!

p.s. I know the stage looks crappy, it's an homage to my old moshing grounds in colorado, and a complete lack of my understanding of how to put together a drumset :D

we all complain about em, whether or not it's out loud depends on the person!

The audience decides the act, and the people detoimen da perfoimance[Exxagerated Boston accent].Wait. Wait. Wait.
New character idea. Old-style gentleman. Boston or Brooklyn accent, accompanied by mistyped words influenced by his accent. Is ok with gender expectations. BAM! Brainfart.

I would orefer to push the envelope even more to old-style british gentlemen; their unfaltering politeness is just the funniest thing ever!

Jamie's mouth needs work. It's like Pac-Man's, just big and wide without much regard to her facial structure.

Charlotte is cute. Do more with her. Tone down her bitchiness.

Find something funny to write about. This just seems whiny.

Aaaaah..... Rules are there to be broken ^^

But really, I think it's another great comic ^^ Also a bit of these questional taboos that we invented because we like to make our lives more difficult.... XD I agree, we should rethink about them and consider changing the rules. Or eliminate them XD

And the stage looks at least fine to everyone that hasn't done research on drumsets. XD I think many human beings haven't XD

"Sure then she would smack me in the back of my head..." Haha that made me laugh. It's so very true, but I love it anyway. The rules are pretty nice, I totally agree with charlotte! It's totally fair as it protects the us oh so poor women from you big oh so powerful and oh so much stronger men haha. *snorts* Lol.

Anyway, nice comic Benji! I feel bad for taking so long too comment, but I find myself to be very very busy. I have exams friday and I have still so much information to put in my head. Sigh. I'm starting to doubt whether I will be able to do so.

But I didn't come here to complain but to compliment you once more for a very nice comic. The drumset looks good from my point of view, but then again I have absolutely no clue what it should really look like. Hehe. Nice use of dialogue, it flows very well and the (cliche but very much fun) conflict between the unfairness between the men and women is very amusing. Nice work benji and good luck with your work, I hope you aren't as busy as I am. :) ttys

Poor Norman looks so confused,as does Paunch. There's a double standard there! I like the angels and profile of Jamie's and Charlotte's faces too. Good work on the drum set!
