Ever New and Evermore (Poem)
Ever New and Evermore
By J.C. Solis
What I faced in due time, is what I can say
I somehow, through hope, have found my own way
What I faced through the malice of past strife I bore
I do not need to fear this life anymore
What I want in due time and what I want now
For I have survived this turmoil anyhow
And yet still I breathe with the hope of new Grace
As I look to the future with smiles on my face
But I wonder still if there’s more pain to come
The body soon broken, the mind become numb
Yet now I am New, and now I am free
And Evermore will I be whom I want to be
For this is the life which I’ve come to bear fruit
For I will still stand with a heart that’s resolute…
