【How to revert change from this theme (Windows 10)】

1. Go to <Theme and related settings> settings page in Windows

2. Right click the 'greyeve' theme > Delete

3. Apply another theme just to be safe

4. If no effect is seen, probably can try restarting the computer

GreyEveTheme FINAL- Windows 10 High Contrast Theme by eversins
is there a possibility to get rid of all those boxes around things? otherwise its the best theme I've seen that actually runs!
Hey Eversins, Great Theme!
Thank you very much! You have no idea how many times I have to do a system restore after installing other third party themes due to malwares.
Hi have upgraded the background colour, but when I try to update ScrollBar to be same colour it does not work!?
Hi! I really like your taskbar and I want to customize mine to be similar to yours. Any tips on how to do so? I specifically really like that your active windows are stacked with text next to each other and your inactive programs are in a grid towards the upper left hand corner. How would you advise someone else to set it up similarly?

This is the only windows 10 dark theme that actually worked and don´t broke my whole windows system. (I got a flickering screen after logging in with things like modifying system files or installing third party applications and wanted to give up. I was close to reinstalling windows windows because I couldn´t boot anymore.) Thank you so much for this simple solution.
Hello, very cool. Unfortunately, I lost the ability to change the theme in the visual studio.
The link for the fix does not pass. Help please. And thank you for your work.…
Hey, you have to change it in the registry, I definitely still works since I have done it one week ago. Changing it inside VS is disabled by MS.. only one of their bad High Contrast decisions..

Since you are a coder I assume you know what you are doing, try to follow the instructions again.

Just export your Dark (not high contrast) key under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0_Config\Themes"
i.e my Dark VS Dark theme has the key: {1ded0138-47ce-435e-84ef-9ec1f439b749}
after exporting open it in editor and change all "{1ded0138-47ce-435e-84ef-9ec1f439b749}" to the key of the High Contrast VS Theme: i.e: {a5c004b4-2d4b-494e-bf01-45fc492522c7} (on my pc..)

Then save and run the regkey file to write the changes, then start VS.

Hope this helps.
How do you do this for visual studio 2017, as it seems like visual studio 2017 doesn't contain the same registry folders as visual 2015 and earlier?
It worked, thank you very much.
Hi, Great job, Thanks for this. Question, I would like to keep the layout for win 10 explorer, Is that possible?
Do you mean that you want it white? that is not possible with this kind of theme. Your desktop layout and explorer will stay the same, only the colors change.
how to set not affect the Microsoft office when i use that them. thanks
I really do like this Theme
But: Is there a way without high contrast?
Nice work. Just what I needed.
I just use dark background light text on Firefox. The only feature it lacks is setting transparent background of pictures to a certain colour.

Another program I have issues with high contrast mode is bluebeam revu

Thank you Eversins. I still can't believe how badly MS implemented colors with no options for higher contrast/darker themes (their built-ins REALLY suck). You have given us an introduction into creating our own themes, which we were able to avoid for many years. At least the .theme files are editable. Bummed about the border color tied to the text colors. Keep up the great work.
