I adopted him and his brother from @mewhaku Here's the receipt

I commissioned @Cattensu to do both, I'm so happy how they came out! They've greatly improved on their art! Highly recommend for quadupeds.

Poppy is named after the Mexican Poppy(the Argemone Mexicana), which are very prickly flowers that are poisonous to other animals but have healing properties to humans. Go figure.

Before...

He and his brother like to tend to the gardens of the city, and are actually in charge of them! They help distribute foods and food-stuff in exchange for free rent and pets. 

Poppy is hyper active and grows the medical herbs in the city, providing them to the infirmary so they can get them to the patients who need them. 
He loves eating toasted Pumpkin seeds. He cares deeply for his brother Cherries, and sometimes they both can be found sleeping together mid play-fight. Despite how young they are, they both take their jobs seriously but frequently will take play breaks. Somehow the garden is in good condition despite this work ethic. 
One has to be very careful giving him pets, as he has even more thorns on his body than his brother! However he doesn't have any on his belly, which is his favorite place to be pet ;3

Now...
Equally confused, his hyperactivity has turned to vigilance. Rarely sleeping, the sudden environment change has him on guard, and he no longer accepts pets until his trainer is found
