The Grand Final Battle of the True Hero!

The group approached the dragon's den, prepared to fight when space itself began to distort.

“What's going on?!” Jolteon cried out, and everyone ducked for cover.

The dragon emerged, probably awoken from a nap.

“Is that?!” Glaceon gasped, ears going behind her head.

“It is,” Espeon said.

Palkia, Legendary Pokemon of Space itself, eyes glowing red, stepped into the sunlight and stretched lazily, not a care in the world.

“We can't give up!” The Eevee urged, “I've come to far! Legend or no legend, he's been terrorizing my town for too long!”

“We need to put on some shields before we take him!” The Vaporeon stopped the Eevee on their tracks, “Otherwise, he'll squish us like Bug Types!”

“At least Undyne's a fairy type!” The Eevee said proudly, looking up towards the Zangoose cross.

“I may be fairy, but even I know that this may be a few steps up my pay grade,” Undyne admitted, “I couldn't see him before, and all he used were dragon moves. But he's already distorting the space around us, and he probably doesn't even know we're here!”
“What do you suggest?” Jolteon said, sitting and gazing at the Palkia, as if trying to gauge if his den was filled of treasures.

“I suggest summoning ghosts,” Espeon said, taking on an evil glow.

“Let the dead rest!” Glaceon put a paw on Espeon's shoulder, “Undyne, you have a trainer? Do you know any Pokemon who may assist us? We may need back up.”

From the pack she needed to carry always, Undyne pulled a radio. Hesitantly, she looked at it, but then glanced at the Palkia. He seemed to have settled on the top of his cave, taking a sun bath.

Squish us like Bug Types, The Vaporeon's words came back. Undyne smiled, and clicked on the radio.

“Actually, I have the perfect Pokemon in mind.”

A few miles away, Zeppelin drifted through the skies, carrying around his ranch with him on his back this day, as the metal home he normally carried was at home base for repairs. Nova steered him on his back, but they weren't doing much. Just a pilot and her ship when her radio beeped.

“Undyne?” Nova said cheerfully, “You done from adventuring?”

“Nova, this is going to sound crazy,” Undyne's voice came through, “But I need Zeppelin! I've been helping this Eevee stop a dragon from terrorizing its town, but the dragon is Palkia!”
“The Legendary Master of space?!” Nova gasped, “Oh! My!”

“Yes! But the thing is... the thing is!!” Undyne sounded short of breath, but excited, “Zeppelin! He's bigger than the legend himself! I need you to get him to slam on the Legend! Take him out! We need to get him to stop pillaging the village!”

“Is that..?” Nova stopped, then gave the great Father of All Balloons a pat, “Zeppelin, did you hear her? Do you want..?”

Zeppelin let out a deep, deep roar of challenge. Like the ghost he was, he faded, going into what Nova deemed 'stealth mode'.

“Zeppelin says he will! We're coming over now!”

“Great! I'll send you our location. We're going to try to reason with him first, or at least lure the great beast to a place where Zeppelin can easily smash into him.” Undyne replied.

Back on the mountain, Undyne put away the radio.

“A Wailord is coming here?” The Eevee asked. “How is your trainer going to get in here on time? She can't Fly here!"

“My trainer's not coming,” Undyne replied, “But there's this cross, and his name is Zeppelin. And he is very, very big.”

The Vaporeon stood up, towards the Palkia, who bent space around itself  to make the mountain as comfortable as possible for the best warm spot.

“We need to lead it to a trap then, so your Zeppelin can do battle.”
“No battling,” Undyne corrected, “Zeppelin is going to one-shot him.”

“Still,” The Vaporeon said, “We need to trick him.”

“I know a very big canyon,” Glaceon said, “It would fit him and would be very hard for anyone to escape.”
“Show us!” Undyne and the Eevee said. 

It wasn't very far, and the Glaceon led them to a very big pit.

,This will be perfect!” Undyne declared, “For a perfect ariel attack!”

The Glaceon blushed, “We'll have to get him to chase us.”
“Not very hard,” The Eevee said, “I brought some goodies in my pouch he likes stealing. If he thinks we stole from him, he will definitely pursue us.”

Digging through their pocket belt, the Eevee passed around some goods.
“Hey, where's that Jolteon?” The Espeon asked. The others actually looked when there was stomping on the ground.
“Oh he didn't, did he?” Vaporeon groaned.
Indeed he did. The Jolteon was bolting towards them at full speed, carrying a sack with him. Behind him, an angry roar. 

"Hey I got the-” Jolteon's curse was cut off behind him as Palkia roared angrily.

Undyne pulled out her radio, “NOVA WHERE ARE YOU?!”

I SEE YOU!” Nova's panicked cry came about, “Get him in there, Zeppelin is prepared!”
“Move move move!” Undyne urged the other eeveelutions as everyone scrambled. “Jolteon, throw the goods in the pit!”

“Good idea! The loot is not worth my life!” Jolteon tossed the sack in the pit and used Agility to completely dodge Palkia lunging at him. 

The Palkia crashed into the pit with a might THRUMP that shook the earth. From invisibility, the great Zeppelin appeared, revealing himself. Palkia looked up, surprised, not even registering what was going on.

The earth itself shook and cracked as Zeppelin slammed himself into the hole, his face and tail sticking out a little goofily like the balloon he was. Nova jumped off his back and halfway floated to Undyne as Zeppelin lifted himself up, shaking off the rubble from his landing.

Everyone looked in the pit, where Palkia was knocked out.

“Did...did that Wailord just one-shot the legendary Pokemon of Space?!” Jolteon said, utterly confused.

“YOU IDIOT!” Glaceon smacked the Jolteon over the ear.

“Ouch!” Jolteon rubbed his ear, looking at Glaceon sheepishly, “What?”
“You could've gotten us all killed, you greedy Jolteon!” Glaceon chided him.

“Hey, it worked! I figured I could get some goods and lead him here.”
“Without telling us? You're almost as foolish as the knight,” Vaporeon agreed.

“Well, this was an interesting day,” Nova got between everyone, “Town is saved, Palkia is down, let's all get the goods and go home, yes?”
“OH YES!!” Jolteon agreed happily, “Palkia has good loot! We can raid its cave!”
“That LOOT belongs to my village,” The Eevee said, “And we'll be taking it BACK.”

Jolteon blushed.

“Don't worry Jolt, we'll be giving you a reward for helping out. Honor among thieves,” Undyne joked, and the Jolteon gave a small smile in thanks.

Now time to calculate levels!
954 words = 4 levels!

Zeppelin and Nova gain 16 Eeveelution bonus + 4 lit + 2 mission  = 22 levels! Since Zeppelin is level 100, his levels will just go to Nova. 

Undyne gains +16 Eeveelution bonus + 1 partial + 2 BG + 4 lit + 2 mission = 25 levels!
