Before...

He's the repairman of the ranch, everyone was extremely surprised to find him there, Onika  

especially snorting and saying "I'd never thought I'd see your lazy butt again."
Good times.
While not part of the trio that got adopted, lore-wise his trainer went back to him after a day, at the time immediately catching the attention of them, as they, as well as Pinch and Thorn, were the only ones who resided at the ranch. He helped begin the building process, determined to never take his home for granted ever again.
He only really sees Derek, as Derek became a main move teacher. Derek makes fun of him from time to time, but he feels like that's more motivational sport than actual malice, as Derek quickly developed the reputation of oldest and grumpiest boi before Hounsol came along.

Now...

Doodles was supposedly training with Blaz when everything went wrong. He's at a lost at what to do, and his hasty nature drives him to find the culprit at all costs.
