Hamlet and Laertes Fence

Well, here it is, my first attempt at Photoshop since a single digital arts class way back in high school. I decided that, while colored pencils are still my favorite medium, I really ought to learn Photoshop as well. Besides the great many skilled digital artists who I admire and want to learn from, Photoshop has applications in many creative fields, including film making post-production, the career I would like to pursue. I learned that Photoshop is very different and much more complicated than traditional mediums. All these tools and options and layers! I consulted a few tutorials while making this, but mostly fiddled around with it to discover what it all does. The manes and tails are pretty good for a first attempt I think, especially since I drew them with a mouse, as I don't yet have a drawing tablet. So that I could focus only on the technical aspects of Photoshop, I based this on a drawing of mine: The Player's Speech (montage 3). I'd love any feedback or constructive criticism, especially from anyone who has more experience with Photoshop that I do.
